Call per la costituzione di una rete internazionale di ricerca su filosofe, più dettagli qui di seguito dalla proponente:
My name is Marina Aguilar Salinas. I hold a BA and an MA in Philosophy, as well as a PhD in History, and I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Spanish Literature and Literary Theory at the Faculty of Philology of UNED (Madrid, Spain). I am affiliated with the research group BIESES (Bibliografía de Escritoras Españolas), and I am currently developing a postdoctoral project entitled Recovering the Philosophical Legacy from the Margins: Hispanic Women Philosophers of the Early Modern Period.
I am writing because I am currently putting together an idea for a COST project, and Actually, I spoke with Professor Sandrine Berges from Bilkent University, who told me about another project she wanted to do some years ago and. I wanted to ask whether you might be interested in taking part in it. I imagine you are already familiar with the dynamics of this type of project, but for now I will briefly mention the main points:
50% of the participants must come from a group of countries and regions that includes: Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia; French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Mayotte, Réunion Island, and Saint-Martin (France); the Azores and Madeira (Portugal); and the Canary Islands (Spain); as well as Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Türkiye, and Ukraine.
40% of the participants must be under the age of 40. I believe that, from a bureaucratic point of view, the participants would not have much to do. For now, I would only need your email addresses and little else, while I take care of writing the proposal and organising the project.
Potential members must be affiliated with a legal entity (in this case, the university where they are studying or working).
I do not yet have a title, but I can already share some of the objectives I am currently working on:
To create an international network of scholars working on women philosophers in the Modern Age (16th–18th centuries).
To create an international network that moves beyond the traditionally European or transnational framework, emphasising decentralisation and the importance of the Global South.
To create a collaborative database of sources to which all members of the network may contribute.
To create a website for the international network in order to publicise it and connect it to the database.
To develop methodological foundations based on questions that may be applied transnationally to the different sources studied.
To incorporate different analytical perspectives: materialist, paratextual, formalist, and critical historicist.
To take into account the hybrid nature of the texts.
To explore philosophical concepts addressed from different fields that attempt to answer fundamental questions posed transnationally.
To create philosophical categories for reading the texts from an interdisciplinary perspective.
