The Games of Zeus Eleutherios

In Sicily, Easter focuses on the reunion of mother and child. A few of us spent it in the village of Ferla, where Jesus appears at midnight and is escorted by running torch-bearers up a hill. He reunites with mom the next day at noon.

Sports exchange round two. Today, the Italian kids taught us their game of Tamburello, like tennis but with teams and tambourines (hey, that rhymes)!

Dodgeball Diplomacy
The ethics and athletics class put theory into practice today, teaching American games to local high schoolers and playing together in mixed teams. Next week they teach us Tamburello.
