Become a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow (MSCA PF) at the Bagolini Laboratory for Archaeology, Archaeometry, and Photography (LaBAAF), within the Department of Humanities at the University of Trento.
The objective of MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships is to support researchers’ careers, enhance their creative and innovative potential and foster excellence in research. This action targets researchers holding a PhD who wish to acquire new skills through advanced training, international, interdisciplinary and inter-sectoral mobility and implement original and personalised research project. Applications are made jointly by the researcher and the host institution.
Research at LABAAF covers the full chronological span from human Prehistory through Classical archaeology to the Middle Ages. It is particularly strong in landscape archaeology, geoarchaeology, archaeometry, GIS and remote sensing, and the study of human–environment interactions. Special emphasis is placed on methodological approaches, land use, archaeological site formation processes, archaeological micromorphology, mountain archaeology, and human–environment relationships.
The laboratory is supported by well-equipped facilities for archaeological science, material analysis, and advanced digital and photographic documentation, including 3D modelling and photogrammetry.
