SeisRaM - Seismological Research and Monitoring Group

SeisRaM - Seismological Research and Monitoring Group SeisRaM is a group formed by some researchers of the Department of Mathematics and Geosciences of Un

The SeisRaM group is specialized in seismological research and real-time seismic monitoring and managing the seismic network in Friuli Venezia Giulia region (RAF). The principal fields of work are:

- estimation of the ground motion parameters and events location in real-time or quasi real-time mode;
- crustal tomography;
- seismic landslide monitoring.

Our new paper is published! Scientific study named "Near-Real-Time Strong Motion Acquisition at National Scale and Automatic Analysis" carried out by SeisRaM Working Group along with Luisa Filippi is published in Sensors.

A strong motion monitoring network records data that provide an excellent way to study how source, path, and site effects influence the ground motion, specifically in the near-source area. Such data are essential for updating seismic hazard maps and consequently building codes and earthquake-resista...
