A Madrid, ospite di AFAEMO, il nostro progetto Erasmus+ ha attraversato i temi della deistituzionalizzazione, dell'integrazione socio-lavorativa e del diritto alla salute mentale, mettendo a confronto le esperienze di Italia, Spagna e Bulgaria. Un momento che ha ribadito quanto sia urgente, nei rispettivi contesti locali, tradurre queste pratiche in politiche pubbliche capaci di una trasformazione reale, non solo dichiarata. Abbiamo trovato, in tutte le realtà coinvolte, una buona disposizione a lavorare insieme in questa direzione: si tratta ora di trasformare questa disponibilità in impegno concreto, nei servizi e nelle scelte politiche. Un tassello in più per una rete europea che affermi diritti e comunità come strumenti di cambiamento.
In Madrid, hosted by AFAEMO, our Erasmus+ project explored the themes of deinstitutionalisation, social and labour integration, and the right to mental health, comparing the experiences of Italy, Spain, and Bulgaria. This moment reaffirmed how urgent it is, in our respective local contexts, to translate these practices into public policies capable of real, rather than merely declared, transformation. Across all the organisations involved, we found a strong readiness to work together in this direction: the challenge now is to turn this willingness into concrete commitment, both in services and policy choices. Another building block for a European network that asserts rights and community as tools for change.
