🌍 Today, Università degli Studi di Brescia is hosting the final conference of RECIPES for Internationalisation, the UNITA constellation project dedicated to promoting and strengthening the internationalisation of degree programmes.
➡A day of discussion bringing together universities, experts, and European stakeholders to explore internationalisation strategies, the quality of higher education, and the development of the European Universities Alliances.
Following the institutional welcome by Prof. Roberto Ranzi, Vice Rector for International Affairs, the programme focused on the presentation of the project's main achievements by local and international representatives. These include the Handbook for Internationalisation, which gathers practical "recipes" for integrating an international dimension into degree programmes, and the Self-Assessment Tool, designed to support institutions in evaluating the level of internationalisation of their educational pathways.
Among the guest speakers:
🔹 Prof. Maurizio Tira, Member of the Board of the European University Association (EUA), who will discuss the role of the association in supporting the internationalisation of European higher education;
🔹 Amélie Bensimon (HCERES), who will present the perspective of accreditation bodies on the relationship between quality assurance and internationalisation;
🔹 Yann-Maël Bideau, Responsible for European Universities Alliances portfolio in the Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture, European Commission, who will provide insights into the evolution of the European Universities Initiative.
📍In the afternoon, three parallel workshops will offer participants the opportunity to explore the tools and good practices developed within the project and to discuss future perspectives for the internationalisation of higher education. The sessions will focus on key topics such as international strategies and partnerships, the development of curricula with an international dimension, and the training of academic and administrative staff.
