Four years ago on this day, my Marie Curie adventure at Ca' Foscari began. The circumstances then were very different from today, as we were in the middle of the first wave of the Covid-19 epidemic. Last week, the research came to an end in probably the most beautiful way possible. We inaugurated the exhibition Memorie liberate / Liberated memories / Unchained memories in San Sebastiano, which is a really wonderful round-up of these four years. Together with my supervisor Alessandro Casellato, the historian Costantino Di Sante, my family, my friends and the testimonies, who are the heart of the project, we remembered these four years and, above all, we took a look to the future. These days my Marie Curie adventure has come to an end, but certainly not my collaboration with the University of Ca' Foscari, where a piece of the project will live on, at least within the EgodocLab. Let the pictures from the inauguration encourage you to visit the exhibition if you are visiting Venice in the first days of May (until May 10!). If not this time, then next time, since Memorie liberate / Osvobojeni spomini / Unchained memories is officially going on tour! 🤩 Three future locations have already been confirmed, and I'm accepting proposals for the new ones. I am looking forward to this travelling exhibition, which will undoubtedly contribute to the understanding of a certain period of history that has been left behind and imprisoned inside families and individuals for far too long. I am looking forward to all the future projects at my home institute, the Institute IRRIS, as well as, of course, to further cooperation with the University of Ca' Foscari, where we are already designing future collaborative projects. 🥰 Keep updated!
