Resilient Spaces

How architecture and planning can improve the life conditions and increasing the community resilience in these extreme conditions? Could we connect architecture & human rights as a theoretical frame for our professional and ethical responses? Could architecture and planning contribute in the creation of a new social order with a more delicate balance between nature and society?

Our International postgraduate specialisation programme tries to give some answers for these key questions. One of our main goals is to improve our professional response in this moment of global social transformation.

The postgraduate specialisation programme has the following objectives. B)Develop an ethical approach in our professional action. C)Set up Resilience as a useful tool inside of the architecture, engineering and other professional fields related to the physical response in a situation of urban crisis, climate change, and humanitarian emergency. D)Promote new professional roles and new job opportunities for architects and other professionals according to the new challenges that our modern societies face today.
