International Relations Peace Studies, APU This page represents the International Relations and Peace Studies Cluster of Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific Studies.

International Relations and Peace Studies at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University focuses on the important content and skills for the next generation of international oriented students. We provide courses dealing with the practical elements of international politics, security, peace, diplomacy, economics, and other areas to get students ready today, for the changes occurring tomorrow. Students who

graduate from IRPS @ APU build both academic and applied careers throughout the Asia Pacific region and the rest of the world. Many students enter careers in international business, diplomacy, government service, and academia. All students, regardless of focus learn practical skills in analytical research, informational literacy, and intercultural communication. IRPS maintains four study tracks involving International and Comparative Political Economy; Security Studies; International Cooperation, Diplomacy, and Strategy; and Transnational Politics.
