rpose of helping people affected by the massive Nepal earthquake of 7.9 Richter scale occurred on April 25th, 2015, while pursuing practical managerial accounting knowledge. Our company’s location is APU Cafeteria where we started sales operations on Friday 22nd, 2015 from 11am. Job Specification:

At the same time, Hope Cookie House Team divided production tasks between its members in order to fully utilize resources available and work efficiently. Once we had all the ingredients and tools prepared (bought by material purchaser), two team members made the dough and then started cutting the shapes, obtaining two trays each and putting them for baking in the oven. The baking time was further utilized for obtaining other tray of cookies. Simultaneously, the accountant made note of the quantity of the ingredients used, timing for knitting the dough, refrigeration, cutting, baking, packing and finally, cleaning. Marketer did a market research by asking previous accounting batch about their experiences in the Cookie Project and used questionnaire to APU students. Afterwards, marketer took pictures during the whole project development and then prepared the flowchart of the entire cooking process. The marketing strategy was primarily based on the allocation of charity money for the victims of Nepal earthquake; this restricted our marketing costs to just 200 yen and influenced in determining our company’s name as Hope Cookie House. Finally, Hope Cookie House webpage was created and efforts were made to promote our company through various means such as social media (Facebook) and word of mouth advertising.
