今学期も修了式とフェアウェルパーティーが開催される季節がやってきました。

三か月という月日はあまりにも早く、私たちの気持ちをよそに、あっという間に過ぎ去ってしまいました。
光陰矢の如しとはよく言ったもので、ウェルカムパーティーの日のことがまるで昨日のことのように感じられます。
出会いがあれば別れがある。私たちは出会いと別れが表裏一体であることを、これまでの人生の教訓から知っています。それでも私たちはこの場面に出くわすたびに名ごり惜しい気持ちでいっぱいになるのです。
出会いはうれしさや喜びに満ち溢れたものであるのに対し、別れはどうしてこれほどにも辛く、寂しいものなのでしょう。きっと、それは出会えたことの幸せに気づかせられるからだと思います。出会いはそれほど尊いものだということでしょう。出会いに感謝し、それぞれの新しいスタートを祝福したいと思います。
私たちは同じ星に住む人々です。
私たちは宇宙船地球号の一員としてこれからも旅を続けます。
離れるのは距離だけです。
それぞれの国に帰った後も、同じ、地球号の乗組員として私たちは9億4000万キロの旅の続きをしていることに変わりはないのです。
さあ、前を向いて新しい一歩を踏み出そう！

Hello, This is a JLP reporter,
Once again, the end of the semester has arrived.

These past three months have flown by so quickly, passing almost without us realizing it.
There is a Japanese proverb “光陰矢の如し“It means "Time flies." It feels as if the welcome party was only yesterday.
Where there are meetings, there are always partings. Throughout our lives, we have learned that every beginning is eventually followed by an ending. Even so, whenever the time comes to say goodbye, our hearts are filled with sadness and reluctance.
Meeting new people brings us joy, excitement, and hope. So why does saying good-bye hurt so much?
Perhaps it is because parting reminds us of how fortunate we were to have met in the first place. It makes us realize just how precious every encounter truly is.
I am sincerely grateful that our paths crossed, and I wish each of you nothing but happiness and success as you begin your next chapter.
Although we may return to different countries, we all share the same home—our planet Earth.
We are all crew members aboard Spaceship Earth, continuing the same incredible journey together. The only thing separating us is distance. Even after we return home, we will still be traveling together on this remarkable voyage aboard Spaceship Earth—a journey of approximately 940 million kilometers around the Sun every year. So, let's keep looking forward, take our next step with confidence, and continue our journey together. Until we meet again.

【修了式が開催されました！】
　7月27日（月）に2026年第1学期日本語講座の修了式とフェアウェルパーティーが開催されました。
修了式では、小田司学部長と真道杉法学部教授より留学生への祝辞、ボランティア学生への御礼の言葉を贈りました。
小田学部長より修了証書および記念品が授与され、カナダからの留学生が代表として受け取りました。続いて、留学生代表としてドイツからの留学生がスピーチを行い、日本での素晴らしい経験や、先生方、ボランティア学生への感謝の気持ちを語ってくれました。
最後に、日本語講座プログラムコーディネーターの田川恭識先生による講座報告が行われ、修了証書と記念品が留学生一人ひとりに授与されました。
はじめは緊張してあまり日本語を話せなかった留学生たちが、今では積極的に日本語で会話し、ボランティア学生との絆も深まっている様子を見ることができ、日本語講座の教職員一同、大変うれしく思っています。
これからも、学生たちにとってより良いプログラムを提供できるよう、教職員一同、日々努力を重ねてまいります！

[Completion Ceremony were Held!]

On Monday, July 27, the Completion Ceremony and Farewell Party for the 2026 summer term Japanese Language Program were held.

At the opening ceremony, many of the international students were understandably nervous and spoke very little Japanese. By the completion ceremony, however, they were confidently communicating in Japanese and had built strong friendships with the student volunteers. Seeing their remarkable progress has been a great joy for all of the staff involved in the program.

We will continue working together to provide an even more rewarding and enriching program for our students in the future.

エクスチェンジカフェが開催されました。
７月２３日にエクスチェンジカフェではフルーツバスケット、椅子取りゲーム、絵しりとりをしました。

今学期も終わりに近づくころに開催されたエクスチェンジカフェは、一回目のエクスチェンジカフェに比べ、皆が自由に自分の意見を発し、みんなで作り上げ、成功させたエクスチェンジカフェでした。

椅子取りゲームがその最たる例です。椅子取りゲームは当初、する予定ではありませんでしたが、ディヤスさんの意見とみんなの賛成で急遽することとなりました。椅子取りゲームはドイツスタイルで行われ、 ドイツで椅子取りゲームをするときには必ず使われるというドイツ語の曲を用いて行われました。

そして彼は椅子取りゲームでは準優勝という結果を残す。ちなみに彼は椅子取りゲームをする前にフルーツバスケットでも優勝しています。

今回のエクスチェンジカフェの良かった点は、全員が良き参加者であり、全員が良きリーダーであったことだと思います。みんなで作り上げることって大変気持ちがいいものですね。

The Exchange Café was held once again this semester.

During the event, we played Fruit Basket, Musical Chairs, and Picture Shiritori, and everyone had a great time together.

Since this Exchange Café was held near the end of the semester, it felt very different from the first one. Compared with our first gathering, everyone was much more comfortable expressing their own ideas. Rather than simply participating, everyone helped create the event together, which made it a great success.

The best example of this was Musical Chairs. It was not originally part of the schedule, but after Diyaz suggested playing it and everyone agreed, we decided to add it at the last minute. We played it in the German style, using a German song that, according to Dias, is always played during Musical Chairs in Germany.

Diyaz also had an impressive performance in the games. Before finishing as the runner-up in Musical Chairs, he had already won the Fruit Basket game.

I believe the best part of this Exchange Café was that everyone was not only a great participant but also a great leader. Everyone contributed ideas, encouraged one another, and helped make the event enjoyable for all. It reminded us that creating something together is one of the most rewarding experiences we can have.

Hello, This is a JLP reporter.
The first Exchange Café was held, and everyone had a great time together.
We enjoyed playing the Rock-Paper-Scissors Train Game and Charades. After some exciting matches, Adrian and Jaewon became the champions of the Rock-Paper-Scissors Train Game.
After the event, I had the chance to interview Adrian.
Me: "How do you feel after winning?"
Adrian: "I'm very happy to receive this award. I couldn't have won it without everyone here. Thank you very much."
Then he added with a smile,
Adrian: "Japanese rock-paper-scissors is different from German’s one, so it's difficult! (Laughs)"

As the excitement reached its highest point during the final match of the Rock-Paper-Scissors Train Game, one participant was calmly watching the game. It was Minori. She was paying close attention to Adrian's left hand.
"He showed paper five times in a row. But with that same hand, he won the championship."
The words five, left hand, and championship reminded me of one famous event.
It was the 1986 FIFA World Cup quarterfinal between England and Argentina.
In that match, Diego Maradona dribbled past five defenders and scored one of the greatest goals in football history. In the same game, he also scored with his left hand. That goal later became famous as the "Hand of God."
The FIFA World Cup is being held again this year. Every four years, it brings exciting matches and unforgettable moments to football fans around the world.
Forty years ago, Maradona won the World Cup and lifted the trophy with his left hand.
Today, forty years later, Adrian won the Rock-Paper-Scissors Train Game with his left hand.
The legend is handed on to the next generation.
What kind of drama will we see next time?
The next Exchange Café will be held on July 23rd.

Exchange café 第1弾
　
JLPレポーターです。
第1回エクスチェンジカフェが開催されました。
「じゃんけん列車」と「ジェスチャーゲーム」をして盛り上がりました。
じゃんけん列車の優勝者はアドリアンさんとジェウォンさんの二人！
私はアドリアンさんに優勝後の感想をお伺いすることができました。
私「今のお気持ちいかがでしょうか？」
アド「このような賞をいただけたこと大変うれしく思います。私がこの賞をいただけたのもここにいる皆さんのおかげです。ありがとうございました。」
そして彼はこう続ける。
アド「日本のじゃんけんはドイツと異なるので難しいですね笑笑」

じゃんけん列車の決勝戦、ヴォルテージの高まる中、ある参加者は冷静にその勝負を見守っていた。みのりさんである。彼女はアドリアンさんの左手に注目していた。
「彼は５回連続でパーを出していました。しかし、そのパーで勝利をつかみ取ったのです。」
「５」、「手」、「優勝」
これら３つのワードはある出来事を想起させた。
1986年のFIFAワールドカップ準々決勝、イングランド対アルゼンチンの試合である。
この試合でディエゴ・マラドーナ選手は相手選手5人を抜き、ゴールを決める。その同じ試合で彼は左手でハンドをしながらゴールも決めるのだ。後に、「神の手」と称される伝説のゴールである。
　今年もワールドカップが開催されている。4年に一度のこの季節はいつも人々を熱狂させるドラマが待ち受ける。40年前、マラドーナは自身の左手でワールドカップ優勝をつかみ取った。
40年後の今日、アドリアンさんは自身の左手でじゃんけん列車優勝をつかみ取ったのである。
次回エクスチェンジカフェは7月23日に開催される。次回のエクスチェンジカフェはどんなドラマが待っているのだろうか。

こんにちは、JLPレポーターです！
6月12日、13日の2日間、佐野・日光研修旅行を実施しました。

研修では天明鋳物工房を見学し、日本の伝統工芸について学びました。また、抹茶体験を通して日本文化にも触れることができました。昼食では佐野ラーメンを味わい、参加者全員で楽しい時間を過ごしました。
さらに、私たちは研修旅行の一環として佐野日本大学高校を訪れ、高校生との交流を通して、日本の高校生活について学びました。
まず、和太鼓部や応援団部、吹奏楽部などの部活動を見学し、実際に体験する機会もありました。
そこで私は、ボランティアの一人に「これらの部活動を体験してみてどう感じましたか」と尋ねました。
すると彼は、「高校生の頃は山岳部に所属していましたが、あまり活動に参加していなかったので、今回見学した部活動はとても新鮮に感じました。もし高校時代に戻れるなら、今回のような活発な部活動に挑戦してみたいです」と話してくれました。

今回の研修旅行では、日本の伝統文化や高校生活を実際に体験することができ、多くの学びや発見がありました。思い出を大切にしながら、これからの学びにも生かしていきたいと思います。

Hi, we are JLP reporters.
Sorry to keep you waiting for so long.
On our school trip,we went to Sano and Nikko from June 12th to 13th.

We learned about a lot of things such as Japanese traditional craft which are called Tenmyo-imono and traditional tea ceremony.
Through making and drinking matcha together and we learned about Japanese way of thinking about harmony.
After that, we went to Sano Nichidai High School as part of our school trip and we learned about daily life in a Japanese high school.
Through the interactions with Japanese high school students, we had the opportunity to watch and experience some club activities, such as Japanese taiko drum club, cheering group,and brass band.
I asked one of the volunteers, “How did you feel about these club activities?”
He answered,”When I was a high school student,I was in the mountain climbing club, but always stayed at home after school.”
Therefore,their activities were very new and refreshing to me.If I could go back to that time,I would join in a club like them.”
That being said, I think we should focus on the future. His comment made me think about the importance of looking ahead. It’s nice to remember the past, but we shouldn’t dwell on it or regret it too much.

Thank you for giving us this opportunity.
We could get new perspectives about Japanese culture through these activities.

【日本語講座令和８年度第1学期がスタートしました！】

5月14日（木）に、開講式・ウェルカムパーティーを開催しました！

今学期は、13か国から34名の留学生が参加します🌸

開講式では、法学部小田学部長、坂本学部次長から歓迎のご挨拶をいただき、田川先生からは温かい応援メッセージが送られました。

ウェルカムパーティーでは、留学生による自己紹介やボランティア企画のゲームを実施し、会場は笑顔と交流で大盛り上がりでした！

開催にあたり、ご協力いただいた法学部校友会の皆さま、日本大学生ボランティア・留学生の皆さん、関係者の皆さまに心より感謝申し上げます。

留学生の皆さんにとって、日本語講座での学びと交流が実り多いものとなるよう、サポートしてまいります！

【The Summer term of the 2026 Japanese Language Program has Started!】

On May 14, we held the opening ceremony and welcome party.

This term, 34 international students from 13 different countries have joined the program 🌸

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the College of Law Alumni Association, the Nihon University student volunteers and international students, and all those who supported the event.

We will continue to support international students so that their experiences in the Japanese language program are meaningful, enriching, and rewarding.

【令和７年度第３学期　修了式とフェアウェルパーティーが開催されました！】

３月３０日（月）に令和７年度第３学期日本語講座の修了式とフェアウェルパーティーが開催されました。
修了された留学生の皆さん、おめでとうございます。
フェアウェルパーティーでは、笑いあり涙あり，とても温かい時間を過ごしました。

帰国する留学生の方は，また日本に来てくれることを願っています。
まだ日本に滞在する留学生の方は，引き続き日本での生活を楽しんでください。
ボランティアの方々も今学期ご参加いただき，ありがとうございました。

皆さんの今後のご活躍を心よりお祈りしております。
