ACSK had the great pleasure of celebrating Khmer New Year with our international friends and Japanese guest, sharing of Cambodian culture and cuisine.

Last month, our association went strawberry picking at Ichigo Farm Kojien 🍓

Fukuoka is famous for its strawberries, especially the premium Amaou strawberries. The name “Amaou” comes from four Japanese words meaning “red, round, big, and delicious.”

• あか – Red
• まるい – Round
• おおきい – Big
• うまい – Delicious

Strawberry picking season is December–May, but the best time is from February to March.

Association of Cambodian Students in Kyushu (ACSK) is excited to announce an online Scholarship Sharing for Cambodian students who dream of studying in Japan and becoming a MEXT Scholar.

This session aims to guide and inspire you with real insights on how to successfully apply for the MEXT scholarship.

📚 What is the MEXT Scholarship?
The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) Scholarship is a prestigious, fully funded scholarship offered by the Government of Japan. It covers tuition fees, a monthly allowance, and round-trip airfare for international students who wish to pursue undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral studies in Japan.

Ms. Chea Monyneath is currently a PhD student at Kyushu University. She has committed herself to leading the association toward even greater progress in the coming year.

“Create a community where students feel at home, supported, and engaged. Together, we will represent where we come from” is the vision of the newly elected president.

Our association strongly hopes that all of our students in Kyushu will actively participate under the leadership of the new president to strengthen connections among students, between students and Japanese people, and to showcase Cambodia’s rich culture to the world.

ក្នុងស្មារតីខ្មែរគ្រប់ទិសទីរួបរួមគ្នាប្រឆាំងសង្រ្គាមឈ្លានពានរបស់ប្រទេសថៃមកលេីប្រទេសកម្ពុជាយេីង និស្សិតខ្មែរនៅតំបន់គ្យូស៊ូ ប្រទេសជប៉ុនបានចូលរួមបរិច្ចាកដេីម្បីផ្តល់ជំនួយដល់បងៗវីរៈកងទ័ពដ៏អង់អាចក្លាហានដែលកំពុងប្រយុទ្ធនៅសមរភូមិមុខ ព្រមទាំងបងប្អូនជនភៀសសឹកដែលកំពុងជួបទុក្ខលំបាកដោយសារការឈ្លានពានពីប្រទេសថៃ។

យេីងខ្ញុំបានប្រមូលថវិកាសរុប ៥០០០០ យ៉េន និង ៣០ ដុល្លារ ដោយបានចូលរួមបរិច្ចាកជាមួយមូលនិធិរបស់សមាគមនិស្សិតខ្មែរនៅប្រទេសជប៉ុន។

ឆ្លៀតក្នុងឱកាសនេះ យេីងខ្ញុំសូមថ្លែងអំណរគុណដល់សិស្សនិស្សិតខ្មែរនៅតំបន់គ្យូស៊ូដែលបានបរិច្ចាកថវិកាផ្ទាល់ខ្លួនដេីម្បីរួមចំណែកជួយដល់បងៗកងទ័ពនិងជនភៀសសឹកនៅតំបន់ព្រំដែន។

ក្នុងគ្រាដ៏លំបាកនេះ យេីងឈររួបរួម ផ្តល់ជាកម្លាំងចិត្តដល់បងៗវីរៈកងទ័ពឱ្យពួកគាត់ទទួលបានជ័យជំនះ និង បងប្អូនភៀសសឹកឱ្យឆាប់បានត្រឡប់ទៅកាន់លំនៅដ្ឋានរបស់ពួកគាត់វិញក្នុងពេលខាងមុខនេះ។

In the spirit of Khmer unity to stand together against the aggressive war of invasion by Thailand, Association of Cambodian Students in Kyushu - ACSK raised funds for the donation to provide assistance to our brave and heroic soldiers who are fighting on the front lines, as well as to displaced people who are suffering hardship due to the invasion by Thailand.

We collected a total of 50,000 yen and 30 US dollars and contributed to Cambodian Students' Association in Japan - CSAJ

we would like to express our sincere thanks to the Khmer students in the Kyushu who donated their own resources to supporting our soldiers and displaced people in the border areas.

In this difficult time, we stand united, offering heartfelt support to our heroic soldiers to achieve victory, and wishing that our displaced people will be able to return to their homes as soon as possible.
