Ichinose Lab. Tokyo Metropolitan Univ. We investigate sustainability of urban buildings in terms of energy and human environment especially focusing on Asian region.

Our laboratory belongs to Tokyo Metropolitan University that is only established by Tokyo Metropolitan Government. We are focusing on the urban environmental issue and practical projects that include actual performance of office buildings, innovative facade technology, urban heat island, water utilization and so on. Recent activity is conducted in ASEAN region and with local collaborator in terms of research and education.

Prof. Ichinose resigned President of ASHRAE Japan Chapter at the general meeting 18/July 2025. Next president is Dr. Kitaro Mizuide from Nikken Sekkei and he will proceed more collaboration with Region XIII and society. Thank you very much for all who support and collaborate with me during 2024-2025. I hope to expand relationship and friendship for the future.
