🎉 A New Advanced Electron Microscopy Shared Facility Opens at Science Knot!
On June 5, WPI-SKCM² held an opening ceremony for the advanced electron microscopy facility, “JEOL × Hiroshima University Knotted Room,” at the Science Knot Building on the Hiroshima University Higashi-Hiroshima Campus.
The facility is equipped with the advanced electron microscope “NEOARM,” capable of atomic-resolution TEM/STEM observation and featuring the first double-collector system in the Chugoku-Shikoku region. The new facility is expected to support a wide range of research and analytical needs in fields such as materials science, semiconductors, and nanotechnology.
In addition to unveiling the facility, the event also introduced advanced analytical technologies and the framework for shared facility usage, attracting many participants.

🎉 Science Knotに最先端電子顕微鏡共用施設を開設しました!
6月5日、広島大学 東広島キャンパス Science Knotにて、先端電子顕微鏡施設「JEOL×Hiroshima University Knotted Room」の開設記念式典を開催しました。本施設には、中四国地域で初となるダブルコレクターを備えた、原子分解能でのTEM/STEM観察が可能な先端電子顕微鏡「NEOARM」を導入。材料科学や半導体、ナノテクノロジー分野など、幅広い研究・分析ニーズへの対応が期待されています。
施設のお披露目に加え、先端分析技術や共同利用の仕組みについても紹介され、多くの方にご参加いただきました。
