Dear Supporters of BIRDS-3 Project,
Today another amateur satellite, KITSUNE from Kyushu Institute of Technology will be deployed from ISS Orbit. Please help us in collecting as many CWs as possible since it is important for us to monitor the satellite health in the initial phase. We will send QSL Cards for all successful CW decodes. You can input the decoded CWs in the following form:

Another week, another photo.

This is how sunrise is as viewed from space. The earth horizon is visibly seen as the sun lit over the clouds. Flares caused by the interaction of the sunrays and the camera lens are also shown at the upper right.

On March 14, 2021, the BIRDS-4 satellites were deployed from ISS.

The photo below shows one of the images taken by the camera mission during the actual deployment. Such a photo is unique because a part of the International Space Station (ISS) and the Earth is in one frame.

More images shall be released in future posts.
