【Day 2: Working for MiSeq Running 1】
We introduced our fulfilling rooms and equipments to Sakura science members.
Then, they prepared their samples for MiSeq running.
Some members looked tired, because they worked unfamiliar experiments harder during daytime...

But, Sakura science members enjoyed working!
We’ll continue to support strong members with smiles!

今日はラボの紹介と来週から始める実験の準備をしました。
チューター組は拙い英語を絞り出しながら、必死に実験操作を教えたため、何より頭が重い!笑
だから、しっかり体を休めて明日に備えます!

【Day 1: Orientation】
Sakura science students had a first orientation to stay in Japan and introduce specific technology in our lab.
Their faces looked good to get excited about staying Japan.
However, we have tough work from tomorrow.
Therefore, all of them should prepare each mind for lab work, hahaha🤪

さくらサイエンス1日目
日本人勢は特殊な機械の説明や公共交通機関の説明をするために無い英語のスキルを駆使してきちんと留学生たちに公共交通機関の使い方を理解してもらえました!
明日からはかなりタフな実験が待っています。
まだ始まったばかりのさくらサイエンスのプログラムは無事に終わるのでしょうか。

【Welcome to Japan!】
Two students from Colombia 🇨🇴 and Mexico 🇲🇽 arrived at Fukuoka.
Our lab has the invitation program, Sakura science.
They will work in our lab for 3 weeks!

Other six students from Malaysia 🇲🇾 will come to Japan this night.

We try to gift them the valuable life!

【環境バイオテクノロジー学会/Japan Society for Environmental Biotechnology】
昨日からの2日間、大阪大学の吹田キャンパスで開催されている環境バイオテクノロジー学会に前田准教授と研究室所属学生2人で参加しています!
学会参加者から鋭い質問や意見いただけるため、非常に充実した2日間が過ごせています。
今回の学会を糧に日頃の研究室活動に活かせるように更なる努力をしていきます!

Dr. Maeda and two student in Maeda lab join Japan Society for Environmental Biotechnology at University of Osaka.
Strong participants from other lab asked us strong questions and comments, so we expect to improve our research based on their comments.
We’ll make more efforts after going back to lab.
