みなさんこんにちは！KTAスタッフの ユイです！ 4/25(土)も日本語で話そう！のイベントを「花札（はなふだ）」をテーマに開催(かいさい)しました！ まずスタッフが花札の歴史（れきし）と遊び方（あそびかた）を説明（せつめい）したあとに、実践（じっせん）でたくさんプレイしました！！
もともと花札はトランプで賭博（とばく）をしているのかがバレないように 日本流（にほんりゅう）にアレンジしたのが花札と言われています！ 実はみなさんご存知（ぞんじ）の京都（きょうと）にある「任天堂（にんてんどう）(マリオの生まれた場所)も 最初（さいしょ）に作ったのは「花札」だそうです！
留学生同士（りゅうがくせいどうし）のペアで1:1でプレイしながら スタッフがサポートをするかたちでみんな笑顔（えがお）で楽しくプレイしていました！
最初（さいしょ）のほうはルールを理解（りかい）するために花合（はなあ）わせを基本（きほん）のルールでひたすらプレイしました！留学生のみなさんがある程度（ていど）理解（りかい）をしたら今度（こんど）はポーカーにもあるようなルールを追加（ついか）しながらもっと点数（てんすう）が沢山（たくさん）取（と）れるようなハイレベルなプレイをしました！勝（か）ち負（ま）けはあるものの相手（あいて）が勝（か）ってもおめでとう！すごいですね！などと暖（あたた）かい雰囲気（ふんいき）でイベントを終（お）えました！
次回（じかい）はウェルカムセッション！ わたしの企画（きかく）で 世界（せかい）三大（さんだい）ボードゲームのカタンで 楽（たの）しくゲームしながら日本語をたくさん使（つか）いましょう！

Hello everyone! I’m Yui from the KTA staff!
April 25th (Saturday), we held another "Let's Speak Japanese!" event
with the theme of "Hanafuda" (Japanese playing cards)! First, the
staff explained the history and rules of Hanafuda, and then we played a lot! It
is said to have originated as a Japanese adaptation of playing cards, designed
to prevent people from realizing they were gambling (playing poker)! In fact,
Nintendo (the birthplace of Mario), located in Kyoto, also created Hanafuda as
their first game! International students played in pairs, 1:1, with staff
support, and everyone was smiling and having fun! At the beginning, we played
Hana-awase using the basic rules to help everyone understand the rules! Once
the international students had a good grass of the rules, we added rules
similar to those found in poker and played many high-level games to try and
score more points! While there were winners and losers, the event ended in a
warm atmosphere with congratulations and compliments like "That's amazing!"
Next time, it's a welcome session! I've organized this event: Let's have fun
playing Catan, one of the world's three greatest board games, and use lots of
Japanese! That's all from Yui

こんにちは！KTAサポーターのむらぴーです！

3月27日に京都市立日吉ヶ丘高等学校（ひよしがおかこうとうがっこう）さんにおじゃまをし、部活動（ぶかつどう）の体験（たいけん）をしました。

体験したのは、なんと、剣道（けんどう）部（ぶ）さんと相撲（すもう）部さん！高校（こうこう）のみなさんに道具（どうぐ）をかりて、剣道をしたり、相撲をしたりしました。

とても貴重（きちょう）な体験（たいけん）でしたね！
高校のみなさん、ありがとうございました！

●Kendo (swordsmanship) Club

・Watch the performance by the club members (Top class team)

・Wear Kendo armor, hold the sword, and experience Kendo (Swordsmanship)

●Sumo Club

・Watch the performance by club members.(Top class team)

・Put on a mawashi (sumo belt) and step into the sumo ring and try out the moves!

みなさんこんにちは！KTAサポータのりくとです。みなさん、春休みいかがおすごしでしょうか？

KTAでは、八坂神社（やさかじんじゃ）の近くにある、漢字検定（かんじけんてい）ミュージアムという場所にいきました。漢字検定とは、日本で使（つか）われる漢字（かんじ）のテストです。テストと言っても（いっても）、JLPTのように仕事（しごと）や留学（りゅうがく）に使う（つかう）テストではありません。Test というよりは、Quiz に近い（ちかい）です。

漢字検定ミュージアムでは、漢字（かんじ）の歴史（れきし）についての博物館（はくぶつかん）です。漢字の歴史（れきし）を知る（しる）ことができます。漢字（かんじ）とは、漢（昔（むかし）の中国（ちゅうごく））で使われていた（つかわれていた）字（じ）で、日本（にほん）にはおよそ1600年前（ねんまえ）に伝（つた）わってきました。そして、日本（にほん）では、漢字（かんじ）から、ひらがなやカタカナが生まれ（うまれ）ました。漢字（かんじ）は、今の日本語にとって、重要（じゅうよう）な存在（そんざい）なのです。

よく、日本語には、ひらがなやカタカナ、漢字と3つの文字を使っていて難しい（むずかしい）という意見（いけん）を聞きます。そんな人（ひと）こそ一度（いちど）漢字検定ミュージアムに行ってみましょう。少しは日本語にたいして、親近感（しんきんかん）が湧く（わく）かもしれませんよ！！

Hello everyone! I’m Rikuto from KTA support team. How have you been
doing recently? Are you enjoying spring vacation?

On 18th February, KTA organized a visit to the Kanji
Museum (Japan Kanji Aptitude Test Museum). Kanji-Kentei (漢字検定) is a casual
exam for assessing proficiency about Japanese Kanji ( so It is difficult to use
your job hunting or studying compare to JLPT ).

In Kanji-Museum, we can learn the history of Kanji. Kanji was born
in ancient China, and it was introduced to Japan about 1600 years ago. Then,
1000 years ago, Japanese people invented Kana(仮名：ひらがな, カタカナ). We can learn
how kanji influence on Japanese letters in this museum. Kanji is very important
for Japanese language.

It is often said that Japanese is very difficult languages because
it has three different writing systems. I want such people to visit this museum
at once. Kanji-museum will help you feel more connected to Kanji and Japanese!

こんにちは😀KTAサポーターのよこいです。
今回(こんかい)は、和菓子(わがし)作(づく)り体験(たいけん)に行きました。

たくさんの人(ひと)が参加(さんか)してくれたので、2グループに分(わ)かれて体験(たいけん)を行(おこな)いました😳
私(わたし)たちのグループでは、ピンク色(いろ)の和菓子(わがし)と、緑色(緑色)の和菓子(わがし)を作(つく)りました🍡

ピンク色(いろ)の和菓子(わがし)は、"ねりきり"という名前(なまえ)のお菓子(かし)です。粘土(ねんど)のようにこねたり丸(まる)めたりして作(つく)ります。
作ることが難(むずか)しく、私の作(つく)ったねりきりはとても変(へん)な形(かたち)になってしまいました…😭
皆(みな)さんはとても上手(じょうず)に作ることができており、驚(おどろ)きました😲

緑色(みどりいろ)の和菓子(わがし)は"きんとん"と言(い)います。とても面白(おもしろ)い形(かたち)をしています。

作(つく)り終(お)わった後(あと)は、皆(みんな)で"きんとん"を食(た)べました！とても美味(おい)しかったです😋
持(も)ち帰(かえ)った"ねりきり"は、できる限(かぎ)り早(はや)めに食(た)べてくださいね！

次(つぎ)のイベントは、2月(がつ)19日(にち)にあります。皆(みな)さんの参加(さんか)をお待(ま)ちしています！！！

Hello 😀 I'm Yokoi, a KTA supporter.
This time, we went to a wagashi (Japanese traditional sweets) making experience.
Since many people participated, we divided into two groups for the activity 😳
In our group, we made pink wagashi and green wagashi 🍡
The pink wagashi is called "nerikiri." You make it by kneading and shaping it like playing with clay.
It was difficult to make, and the nerikiri I made ended up being a very strange shape... 😭
I was amazed that everyone else was able to make them so well 😲
The green one is called "kinton." It has a very interesting shape.
After finishing making them, we all ate the "kinton" together! It was very delicious 😋
Don't forget to eat the "nerikiri" you took home as soon as possible! It expires quickly🤏
The next event will be on February 19th. We look forward to your participation!!!

みなさん！新年（しんねん）あけましておめでとうございます．
KTAサポータのりくとです。みなさん、年末（ねんまつ）はゆっくりできましたか？
KTAでは、12月27日に忘年会（ぼうねんかい）イベントを行い（おこない）ました！
イベントは朝（あさ）から夕方（ゆうがた）まで行いました。まず、午前中（ごぜんちゅう）は、キャンパスプラザに近い（ちかい）梅小路（うめこうじ）公園（こうえん）で遊びました（あそびました）。サッカーやバレーボール、大縄跳び（おおなわとび）などをして体（からだ）を動かしました（うごかしました）。また、羽子板（はごいた）など新年（しんねん）の伝統的（でんとうてき）な遊びを体験（たいけん）しました。当日（とうじつ）は天気（てんき）が良かった（よかった）ので、とてもたのしく遊ぶことができました。
午後（ごご）は、キャンパスプラザに戻って（もどって）パーティーをしました。お昼ご飯（ひるごはん）にお寿司（すし）やお肉（にく）を食べました（たべました）。とても豪華（ごうか）で、とてもおいしかったです。ごはんの後に、来年（らいねん）の準備（じゅんび）として年賀状（ねんがじょう）を書く（かく）体験（たいけん）をしました。みんな、年賀状（ねんがじょう）に新年のことばを書いたり、絵を描いたり（かいたり）たのしみながら年賀状（ねんがじょう）を作って（つくって）くれたのでよかったです。年賀状（ねんがじょう）を書いた（かいた）あとは、ジェンガやだるまおとし、かるたなどであそびました。その後、チームを組んで，絵しりとり（えしりとり）をして、日本語（にほんご）の語彙（ごい）を増やしました（ふやしました）。最後（さいご）に豪華（ごうか）な景品（けいひん）をかけてビンゴゲームをしました。
2025年を締めくくる（しめくくる）豪華（ごうか）なイベントだったと思います（おもいます）。参加（さんか）してくれた人たちも大いに楽しんでくれたみたいで、私としてもとてもうれしかったです。
今年（2026年）も、KTAでは、楽しい（たのしい）イベントをたくさん行いたいと思います（おもいます）。特に（とくに）、日本語（にほんご）初級（しょきゅう）の人（ひと）でもたのしいと思ってもらえるようなイベントを増やしたいなと思っています。ですので、留学生（りゅうがくせい）のみなさん、今年もKTAをよろしくお願いいたします。
Happy New Year!! I’m Rikuto from KTA student support team.
Did you have a good time during winter vacation?
Last year on 27th December, KTA had an end-of-year event.
In the morning, we played outdoors: Ume-Koji Park near the Campus plaza Kyoto.
We played soccer, volleyball, and long rope skipping. We also experienced Hanetsuki: a traditional game in Japan for New Year’s Day. The weather was awesome, so we had a great time together.
In the afternoon, we had a party in the Campus plaza Kyoto. First, we enjoyed gorgeous lunch; we ate sushi, roast beef, and pizza. Then, we prepared to make New Year’s cards. Everyone wrote New Year’s messages and decorated the cards with joy. After making New Year's cards, we did a kind of competition by making four groups of participants. The competition is Picture word chain game: this was very good for increasing participants’ Japanese vocabularies. Lastly, we played a BINGO game to get gorgeous presents.
This end-of-year event was the best one to summarize 2025’KTA activity. Everyone looked so delighted, and I was glad to see many smiles.
This year, KTA continue to hold fun activities to help you practice Japanese. Furthermore, we try to increase participation of beginner level members. Thank you for your continued support this year!!
