We had the opportunity to present our research at the ICPMAT-ICAMT 2026 conference in Hanoi, Vietnam.

​A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our presentation, asked thoughtful questions, and showed such strong interest in our work. It was wonderful connecting with so many amazing researchers and professionals in the field!

We have the open campus 2926 on July 26. Many people over 130 joined our booth. Our students worked well for presentations in the booth and doing the thermit experiments for high-school students and their parents.

Last week, the Mechanical Engineering Softball Exhibition Tournament was held. Our lab also participated, and thanks to the outstanding performances of our M1 and B4 students, we finished in third place.

It has been a long time since our lab had such a competitive team, and we were delighted with the result. The tournament was a great opportunity to enjoy sports and strengthen our teamwork outside the laboratory.

We hope to build on this success and perform even better in next year's tournament.

The spring annual meeting of Japan Powder Metallurgy was held on Osaka University from May 26 to 28. Mr Okada, who is a B4 student, told his current results on Cr2AlC ceramics. His presentation was very nice. He had a lot of questions after his talk. Good job, Itsuki!!
