A textbook on solution plasma chemistry has finally been published. Although it contains data from about ten years ago, I focused on covering the fundamental principles as thoroughly as possible, so I decided not to update the dataset in the final stages. To be honest, after the publisher first approached me, the project stalled and nearly a decade passed before the manuscript was completed. I am truly grateful to the editor, who patiently supported the work throughout this long process.

I was fortunate to have contributions from Professor Eig (now Associate Professor at Shinshu University), Professor Maria (formerly Specially Appointed Professor at Nagoya University), and Professor Shirafuji (Professor at Osaka Metropolitan University). During the course of writing, Professor Eig moved to Shinshu University, Professor Maria retired, and Osaka City University merged with Osaka Prefecture University to form Osaka Metropolitan University.

I sincerely appreciate everyone’s help and support over these ten years. If you happen to come across the book in a library or elsewhere, I hope you will pick it up and take a look.
