名古屋大学に招聘教員としてお迎えしている、フィンランドのFamily Centered Careプログラム「Close Collaboration with Parents」の開発者のお一人であり、周産期領域の心理支援の専門家であるトゥルク大学の Sari Ahlqvist-Björkroth先生にレクチャーをいただきました。

We were honored to host Dr. Sari Ahlqvist-Björkroth from the University of Turku, a leading expert in perinatal psychological support and one of the developers of Finland’s Family Centered Care program “Close Collaboration with Parents.”
She delivered an insightful lecture as a visiting faculty member at Nagoya University.

本日、NICU病棟において、NPO法人心魂プロジェクト（https://www.cocorodama.com）の皆さまによる音楽会が開催されました。
NICU・GCUに入院中の赤ちゃんやそのご家族に加え、産科病棟に入院中の妊婦さんにもご参加いただきました。
親しみのある楽曲の数々を温かな歌声で届けていただき、病棟全体が穏やかな雰囲気に包まれました。赤ちゃんやご家族、妊婦さん、そしてスタッフにとっても、音楽の力を感じる心安らぐひとときとなりました。
このような貴重な機会をご提供いただきましたNPO法人心魂プロジェクトの皆さまに、心より感謝申し上げます。

第297回日本小児科学会東海地方会にて、医学科6年の中原さんが
「重症貧血を契機に新生児遷延性肺高血圧を発症した εγδβサラセミアの一例」
を発表しました。
医学科6年の学生でありながら、初めての学会発表とは思えないほど、落ち着いた発表と的確な質疑応答でした。

Miss. Nakahara, a 6th‑year medical student, presented a case titled:
“A Case of εγδβ Thalassemia Presenting with Severe Anemia Leading to Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension of the Newborn.”
Although she is a 6th‑year medical student, she delivered a remarkably composed presentation and handled the Q&A with confidence—far beyond what one would expect from a first‑time conference presenter.

高見が「術後中心静脈栄養の開始時期」について講演しました。

名古屋大学小児科神経グループと共同で進めている、脳性まひ児に対する乳歯歯髄幹細胞（SHED）を用いた新規治療開発について、国立研究開発法人科学技術振興機構（JST）より取材を受け、JSTが運営する科学技術情報サイト「サイエンスポータル」で紹介されました。

Our collaborative research with the Pediatric Neurology Group at Nagoya University on the development of novel therapy using stem cells from human exfoliated deciduous teeth (SHED) for children with cerebral palsy was featured by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST).
The study was also covered by Yahoo! News Japan.

中国・鄭州市で開催された International Symposium on Injury and Repair in the Developing Brain: From Bench to Bedside において、佐藤が “The Vulnerable Developing Brain: Rethinking Standard Therapies and Exploring Regenerative Approaches” と題した招待講演を行いました。
また、シンポジウムに先立ち、佐藤の鄭州大学客員教授就任セレモニーが執り行われました。

At the International Symposium on Injury and Repair in the Developing Brain: From Bench to Bedside, held in Zhengzhou, China, Prof. Yoshiaki Sato delivered an invited lecture entitled “The Vulnerable Developing Brain: Rethinking Standard Therapies and Exploring Regenerative Approaches.”
Prior to the symposium, a ceremony was held to mark Prof. Sato’s appointment as a Visiting Professor at Zhengzhou University.

三浦先生が第1著者の論文が、Stem Cell Research & Therapy に受理されました。本誌は関連分野でTop 10%に位置するジャーナルです。

本研究では、ラット慢性肺疾患（CLD）モデルに対するMuse細胞投与の治療効果を検討しました。静脈内投与と気管内投与のいずれにおいても治療効果が認められ、両投与経路間で大きな差はみられませんでした。一方で、死亡率や体重増加の結果を踏まえると、静脈内投与の有用性が示唆されました。

Muse細胞がCLDに対する新たな治療選択肢となる可能性を示した研究であり、基礎研究から臨床応用への発展が期待されます。

Dr. Miura's manuscript as first author has been accepted for publication in Stem Cell Research & Therapy, a top 10% journal in the field.

This study investigated the therapeutic effects of Muse cells in a rat model of bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD). Therapeutic benefits were observed following both intravenous and intratracheal administration, without a significant difference in efficacy between the two routes. However, considering the findings on survival and body weight gain, intravenous administration may offer certain advantages.

These findings suggest that Muse cells could represent a promising therapeutic strategy for BPD and provide important evidence supporting future clinical translation.
