間宮が First Author の論文が Scientific Reports に掲載されました。
非溶血性新生児黄疸に対し、低照度と高照度の光療法を比較した多施設RCTで、再治療率は両群で大きな差はなく、生後72時間以降に開始した児では再治療がほぼ不要でした。
また、論文では “光療法の潜在的な副作用を考慮すると”、低照度光療法を選択肢として検討できる可能性を示しています。

Our paper led by Dr. Mamiya has been published in Scientific Reports.
In this multicenter RCT comparing low‑ vs high‑irradiance phototherapy for non‑hemolytic neonatal jaundice, retreatment rates were similar, and infants treated after 72 hours rarely required retreatment.
The study suggests that, “considering the potential side effects of phototherapy,” low‑irradiance phototherapy may be a reasonable option.

日々の診療・研究・教育を共にし、名大NICUを支えてくださった3人の先生方。
忙しい毎日の中でも、一緒に楽しい時間も過ごしてきました。

お別れは寂しいですが、それぞれの新天地でのさらなるご活躍を応援しています！

三浦と小野田（現山陽小野田市立山口東京理科大学）が共同筆頭著者を務めた論文が、
Stem Cell Research & Therapy（関連分野 Top 10% ジャーナル）に published されました。
本研究では、ラット慢性肺疾患（CLD）モデルに対して Muse細胞を静脈内投与・気管内投与の両経路で評価し、いずれも治療効果を示しました。
死亡率や体重増加の観点からは静脈内投与の有用性が示唆されています。
Muse細胞が新生児慢性肺疾患に対する新たな治療選択肢となり得ることを示した研究であり、基礎研究から臨床応用への発展が期待されます。

The paper led by Drs. Miura and Onoda as the first authors has now been published in
Stem Cell Research & Therapy — a Top 10% journal in its field.

In this study, we evaluated the therapeutic effects of Muse cells in a rat model of bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD).
Both intravenous and intratracheal administration improved disease parameters, with intravenous delivery showing favorable trends in survival and weight gain.

This work highlights the potential of Muse cells as a novel therapeutic option for neonatal chronic lung disease and supports future translation toward clinical application.

金山のビアガーデンにて、NICU納涼会を開催しました。
医師・看護師・臨床工学技士・クラークさんなど、NICUで働く多職種のスタッフが参加し、職種の垣根を越えて交流を深める楽しいひとときとなりました。
心地よい夜風を感じながら、日頃からチームで力を合わせて診療にあたる仲間たちと、夏らしい雰囲気の中で親睦を深めることができました。

名古屋大学に招聘教員としてお迎えしている、フィンランドのFamily Centered Careプログラム「Close Collaboration with Parents」の開発者のお一人であり、周産期領域の心理支援の専門家であるトゥルク大学の Sari Ahlqvist-Björkroth先生にレクチャーをいただきました。

We were honored to host Dr. Sari Ahlqvist-Björkroth from the University of Turku, a leading expert in perinatal psychological support and one of the developers of Finland’s Family Centered Care program “Close Collaboration with Parents.”
She delivered an insightful lecture as a visiting faculty member at Nagoya University.
