2022年3月16日、17日に開かれた第28回大学教育研究フォーラムにて、教員3名が口頭発表、助手２名がポスター発表で参加しました。その中から、今回は助手の研究発表要旨を紹介します。
オンラインライティング指導における院生スタッフの工夫
―関西学院大学ライティングセンターを事例に―

本研究では、当センターの教育指導員がオンラインセッションを実施する際、どのようなオンラインツールをどのように活用していたかを分析した。その結果、教育指導員は「自立した書き手の育成」という理念を常に意識し、「口頭説明を補助する」「共同で作業する」「利用学生に考えさせる」ことを目指して活用していたことが明らかになった。
ライティングセンターを訪れた学生の文章の変化からみる効果的な支援方法

本研究では、センター利用学生の相談内容の録画データを通して、教育指導員の助言内容の分析を行い、これらが利用学生の文章に与えた影響を考察した。その結果、指導員は修正すべき点のみを指摘するのではなく、併せて良い点修正を施すべき理由も提示することで利用学生に安心感を与えることができる。利用学生が納得感をもって確実にリポートの修正を行うことにつながっていることが明らかになった。

Graduate Student Staff Innovations in Online Writing Instruction
-A Case Study of the Writing Center at Kwansei Gakuin University

The study analyzed what online tools the center's educational advisors used and how they used them when conducting online sessions. The results revealed that the educational advisors were always aware of the philosophy of "developing independent writers" and used the tools with the aim of "assisting oral explanations," "working collaboratively," and "making the user students think.
Effective Ways to Support Students Who Visit Writing Centers Based on Changes in Their Writing

In this study, through the recorded data of the counseling contents of the students who use the center, the contents of the educational advisor's advice and the impact they had on the students' writing. As a result, we found that the instructors the reason for the correction is not only to point out what needs to be corrected, but also to give reasons why good points need to be corrected. This can give students a sense of security. The students are convinced that their reports will be the results clearly indicate that the correction of the data is linked to the correction of the data.
