I had the opportunity to present at the Chemical Society of Japan 106th Annual Meeting. Since my talk covered both instrumentation and catalysis, I found it quite challenging to keep the audience equally engaged throughout—something I’ll definitely improve next time, perhaps by separating the topics into different presentations.

That said, I’m grateful that the overall response was very positive, and I truly enjoyed the many insightful discussions. It was a valuable and rewarding experience!

東京科学大学の張助教(研究当時、JAIST特任助教)と谷池教授らの共同研究チームは、光触媒色素分解において評価速度を大幅に向上させ、最大約500サンプル/日のスループット解析が可能な手法を開発しました。本研究成果は、ACS Environmental Au誌で公開されました。
材料探索で必要とされる性能評価を飛躍的に効率化でき、多様な光触媒材料の探索や反応特性の比較を大規模に進められることが期待されます。

【ポイント】プロセス分離の難しい光触媒反応において、「励起キャリアの表面への供給」か「表面での酸化還元反応」のどちらが律速となっているかを簡便に判別できる手法を確立
