Meet Our MiM Owls: Dean (Yi Tse) Chen

Dean (’21) is currently working as a career consultant in the heart of Tokyo thanks to the skills he learned in the classroom as well as during his Internship at American International Group (AIG).

Here's what Dean had to say regarding his TUJ MiM experience :

Temple University Japan’s Master in Management was a turning point in my life. For my practicum, with the support of the MiM program director at the time and his connections, I was able to land my internship at American International Group (AIG), where I worked in human resources.

One of MiM’s courses (Managing People) taught me a great deal regarding different leadership methods and human resource topics, preparing me to excel in this internship.

Thanks to what I learned in the classroom and my AIG internship, I am able to fulfill my dream of working in Tokyo.
