阪大人類学の科研費プロジェクト「クリティカル・メイキング」と連携した「都市エコロジー観測所」の展示が始まります！
今月末より、都市エコロジー観測所での1年間の活動軌跡を「自分たちで観測する、都市のエコロジー」展にて、公開します。

都市に潜む自然、情動、インフラを、自分たちの視点で観測・記録する——そんな試みとして2024年秋に発足した「都市エコロジー観測所（OfUE）」。文化人類学やデザインの研究者・実践者を中心に、市民と共に活動を続けてきました。
本展では、「都市のエコロジーをどう観察するか？」という問いのもと、「インフラ」「自然環境」「情動」の3つの軸から1年の思考と観測の軌跡を展示します。観測ツールや参考書籍、採集物、プロトタイプなどを通じて、私たちのまなざしを共有します。

Starting at the end of this month, we will present one year of activities by the urban ecology observatory in the exhibition "Urban Flows Exhibition."

How do we observe the ecology of the city?
The Observatory for Urban Ecology (OfUE), launched in fall 2024, is a citizen-participatory initiative led by researchers and practitioners in anthropology and design. Based at the foot of Mt. Daimonji in Kyoto, we've spent a year tracing and documenting the complex layers of infrastructure, environment, and affect that shape urban life.
This exhibition presents tools, prototypes, gathered materials, and fragmented thoughts from our fieldwork—inviting you into our evolving practices. Workshops, a repair café, weekly screenings, and a well-digging experiment will also take place during the show.
