12月9日（火）、幸町北キャンパスで「自転車交通安全セミナー」を開催しました！
いろいろな国の留学生が参加し、高松北警察署ご協力のもと、日本の自転車ルールやマナー、防災、2026年4月導入予定の「青切符制度」について学びました。また、シミュレーターで夜間走行や歩行者の飛び出しなどを体験し、安全な自転車の乗り方を楽しく習得しました🚴‍♀️
最後に、交通事故時の対応や万一に備えての学生保険の重要性も説明しました。今後も定期開催予定ですので、特に自転車利用者はぜひご参加ください！

On Tuesday, December 9, we held a Bicycle Traffic Safety Seminar at the Saiwai-cho North Campus! With the cooperation of the Takamatsu Kita Police Station, international students from various countries joined to learn about Japan’s bicycle rules, manners, disaster preparedness, and the upcoming “Blue Ticket System,” which will be introduced in April 2026.
Participants also enjoyed hands-on training using a simulator, experiencing dangerous scenarios such as night riding and sudden pedestrian crossings to practice safe cycling 🚴‍♀️
Lastly, we explained how to handle traffic accidents and emphasized the importance of enrolling in student insurance.
This seminar will be held regularly, so especially if you use a bicycle, don’t miss the next one!

2025年度秋期の「留学生センター開講式」を本日10月10日に開催しました✨
今学期は、10名のさぬきプログラムの留学生と2名の日本語研修プログラムの留学生が加わりました。式では、各留学生が自己紹介を行い、皆さん笑顔で自分の出身大学や自分の名前の意味などを話してくれました😊
これからの半年～1年間、健康に気を付けながら授業や日本人との交流を通して多くのことを学び、有意義な時間を過ごしていただきたいと思います。
日本での生活を楽しみながら、素晴らしい経験をたくさん積んでくださいね！
We held the "International Student Center Opening Ceremony" for the Fall 2025 semester today, October 10th✨
This semester, we welcomed 10 students to Sanuki Program and 2 students to the Japanese Language Studies Program. During the ceremony, each student introduced themselves with bright smiles, sharing details such as the meaning of their names and the universities they come from😊
Over the next five months to a year, we hope you will stay healthy, actively participate in classes and cultural exchanges with Japanese students, and make the most of your time here.
We wish you a fulfilling and enriching experience in Japan. Enjoy your life here and make wonderful memories!

8月5日に「留学生センター修了式」を行いました✨

今学期は、3名のさぬきプログラムの留学生と２名の日本語研修プログラムの留学生が半年～１年間のプログラムを終えました。みなさん学んできた日本語で立派に発表し、著しい日本語力の成長を見せてくれました😲！

さらに、「この道」と「ひまわりの約束」の日本語の歌を2曲を心を込めて歌い上げ、練習の成果が感じられる美しい歌声が響き渡りました。参加者たちが一緒に口ずさむ場面もあり、会場は温かい一体感に包まれました🎶

日本人学生や他の留学生も多数参加し、式後も写真撮影や歓談が続き、別れを惜しむ涙を流す学生の姿も見られるなど、最後まで笑顔と感動があふれる時間となりました😊

修了された皆さん、本当におめでとうございます！これからの活躍を心より応援しています🌸

On August 5th, we held the International Student Center Completion Ceremony✨

This semester, three students from the Sanuki Program and two from the Japanese Study Program completed their studies, which spanned from six months to a full year. Each student gave a wonderful presentation in Japanese, impressing everyone with how much their language skills had grown 😲!

They also performed two Japanese songs: “Kono Michi” and “Himawari no Yakusoku,” with heartfelt emotion. Their beautiful voices, the result of dedicated practice, filled the room and brought everyone together. Many joined in singing, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere 🎶

The ceremony was filled with warmth and joy, with many Japanese and international students joining in. Even after the official program ended, the room remained lively with photo-taking, conversations, and heartfelt goodbyes. Some students were moved to tears, showing just how meaningful these connections had become 😊

Congratulations to all the students who completed their programs! We are so proud of you and wish you all the best in your next chapter 🌸

7月9日（水）、幸町南キャンパスで「自転車交通安全セミナー」を開催しました！
香川県北警察署の方々にご協力いただき、いろいろな国の留学生＆外国人研究者の皆さんが参加してくれました。

前半は、日本の自転車の交通ルールやマナー、防災についての講義を行い、標識や道路の線の違いなど、日本人でも迷いやすいポイントを分かりやすく解説していただきました🚴‍♀️

後半は実地訓練！実際に自転車に乗って、安全な乗り方を体験し、飲酒ゴーグルも使って、飲酒運転の危険性も学びました😵‍💫

このセミナーは、日本で安心・安全に自転車を使えるようサポートするためのものです。
今後も定期的に開催予定なので、ぜひ次回も参加してくださいね！

On Wednesday, July 9, we held a Bicycle Traffic Safety Seminar at Saiwai-cho South Campus, with support from the Kagawa Kita Police Station!
International students and researchers from various countries joined the event to learn how to ride safely in Japan.

In the first half of the seminar, participants attended a lecture on Japanese traffic rules, bicycle manners, and disaster preparedness 🚴‍♀️
The police explained important but tricky points of road signs and lane markings, in which even Japanese people sometimes get wrong!

In the second half, some participants got on a bike for hands-on training.
They practiced safe riding and even tried on drunk goggles to experience the dangers of riding under the influence 😵‍💫

This seminar aims to help international students and researchers ride safely and confidently in Japan.
We’re planning to hold it regularly, so stay tuned and join us next time!

7月12日（土）、留学生会館にて「そうめん流し」イベントを行いました！
日本の夏の風物詩・そうめん流しを体験しながら、地域の皆さんとの交流も深めることができ、留学生たちにとって日本文化を体験する貴重な機会となりました。
当日はお天気にも恵まれ、笑顔あふれる楽しいひとときに。
きっと、今年の夏の思い出として心に残るイベントになったことと思います。
ご参加いただいた皆様、ありがとうございました！

On Saturday, July 12th, we held a Somen Nagashi (flowing somen noodles) event at the International Student house!
This event gave international students the opportunity to experience a unique part of Japanese summer culture and connect with members of the local community.
We were blessed with beautiful weather, and the event was filled with smiles and laughter.
It surely became a special summer memory for the students who participated.

2025年度春期の「留学生センター開講式」を4月30日に行いました✨
今学期は、3名のさぬきプログラムの留学生と1名の日本語研修プログラムの留学生が加わり、式ではそれぞれが自己紹介をしました。自己紹介の際は緊張している様子でしたが、これからの半年間、健康に気を付けながら授業や日本人との交流を通して多くのことを学び、有意義な時間を過ごしていただきたいと思います。
素晴らしい経験をたくさん積んで、日本での生活を楽しんでくださいね！

We held the "International Student Center Opening Ceremony" for the Spring 2025 semester on April 30th✨
This semester, we welcomed three students from the Sanuki Program and one student from the Japanese Study Program, and each of them introduced themselves during the ceremony. They seemed a bit nervous during their introductions, but we hope they will learn a lot and have a meaningful time over the next five months. We hope they will take care of their health, interact with many Japanese people, and enjoy lots of wonderful experiences. Have a fantastic time in Japan and make lots of great memories!

2月17日に「留学生センター修了式」を行いました✨
今学期は、14名のさぬきプログラムの留学生と２名の日本語研修プログラムの留学生が半年間のプログラムを終え、残り１名の日本語研修プログラムの留学生が１年間のプログラムのうちその半分を終えました。みなさん学んできた日本語で立派に発表し、著しい日本語力の成長を見せてくれました😲！また一生懸命練習した「赤とんぼ」と「ドラえもんの歌」の２つの日本語の歌を披露してくれ、懐かしい歌に他の参加者もみんな手拍子をしたり、一緒に歌ったりと大いに盛り上がりました。
日本人学生や他の留学生もたくさん参加してくださり、修了式が終わった後も写真撮影や話で長時間会場がにぎわっていました😄
修了したみなさん本当におめでとうございます！また、あと半年間残っているマリさん、来学期も一緒に頑張りましょうね♪更なる成長を楽しみにしています！

On February 17th, we held the "International Student Center Completion Ceremony"✨ 14 students from the Sanuki Program and 2 students from the Japanese Study Program completed their semester programs this semester. Additionally, one student from the Japanese Study Program has completed half of her one-year program.

Everyone gave impressive presentations in the Japanese they have learned, showing remarkable improvement in their language skills😲! They also performed two Japanese songs, "Aka-Tonbo" and "Doraemon" which they had practiced diligently. The nostalgic songs brought everyone together, with participants clapping along and singing together, creating a lively atmosphere.

Many Japanese students and other international students also joined the event, and even after the ceremony ended, the venue remained lively with photo sessions and conversations😄

Congratulations to all 16 students who completed their programs! And to Mari, who has another six months to go, let's continue to work hard together next semester. We look forward to seeing even more growth!

10月18日に「留学生センター開講式」を行いました✨
今学期は、14名のさぬきプログラムの留学生と3名の日本語研修プログラムの留学生が加わり、うち16名が開講式で自己紹介をしました（1名は残念ながら母校の試験のため欠席）。
自己紹介時は緊張していた様子でしたが、ぜひこれから半年～1年間健康に気を付けながら授業や日本人との交流を通して多くのことを学び有意義な時間を過ごしていただきたいです。
たくさんの思い出を日本で作ってくださいね！
On October 18th, we held the “International Student Center Opening Ceremony” ✨
We welcomed 14 students for Sanuki Program and 3 students for Japanese Study Program this semester. Sixteen of them introduced themselves at the ceremony (unfortunately, one student couldn't make it due to exams at her home university 😢).
Although you seemed a bit nervous during your self-introductions, we hope all of you stay healthy over the next six months to a year, learn a lot through the classes and interactions with Japanese people in Japan, making it a meaningful time.
