Indonesian dance by Eka & Putri from Ganesha University of Education, joined by SLADE students & teachers @ Graduation & Farewell Party on 7th February

SLADE only Sotsuiwa (Graduation Party) was held on 7th February. Various performances and shows including Eka & Putri, students from Ganesha University of Education, Cheer Dance by Akari, 1st year student, Video message shows, SLADE teachers' Haka, Slide show for 4 - 5 year memory, etc. were given. Thank you Sotsuiwa Committee members and student affairs for organizing the party!

Mei-Oh Festival has been held since Friday, 2nd November. The team SLADE won the 5th prize on the Sports Day. All the year groups from the 1st to 4th had booths, altogether 7! A record of our history. Well done!

Ohkagakeun High School Summer program Aug. 3rd.
Ohka High students came to Ohkagakuen University's campus for various lectures in the morning and English games in the afternoon. A fun day was had by all.

SLADE's open campus was on June 10th.
Thank you very much for visiting our department.

Professor Yanagida's mini lecture introduced a variety of tools to listen to your pronunciation and fun methods to practice, such as calling Siri with your smartphone. Teachers explained about our department and students explained how they are studying to improve their English skills in classes and with independent learning such as , studying abroad in English speaking countries. They also explained about studying English at Woosung University in Korea and studying Korean. One student told of her experience of raising her TOEIC score by 370 points within two years. A graduated student told how she is working with English, Korean and Chinese. It is fun!
Although our name is "English department", we have a wide variety in our education. We look forward to see you at our next open campus on July 8th.

A big THANK YOU to all the students from Ohkagakuen University and Nagoya College that volunteered for this year's Chubu Walkathon!

We had a lot of fun in the game area and Ohka students raised ¥135,000 for charities in the Chubu area.
