7/27~29に行われたタイのマハーサラカーム大学（MSU）との交流の様子をお届けします！
今回、昨年に引き続き2度目の開催となり、キャンパス内や和歌山の観光地をフィールドに文化交流を行いました。
短い時間でしたが、充実したプログラムとなりました！

Here’s a recap of our exchange program with Mahasarakham University (MSU) in Thailand, held from July 27 to 29!
This was our second exchange event, following last year’s, and we engaged in cultural exchange activities both on campus and at tourist spots around Wakayama.
Although it was a short time, it was a very fulfilling program!

本日「PATA和歌山大学学生支部10周年記念イベント」を開催しました。OB&OGの皆さんにもご参加いただき素晴らしいイベントとなりました！
グループごとに行ったディスカッションのテーマは「10年後のPATAを考えてみよう」。今のPATAが抱える課題や目指したい姿を現役生だけでなく、OB&OGの皆さんとともに考える時間となりとても有意義でした✨️

2025年11月10日に、タイ・サステナブルツーリズム研修の報告会🇹🇭を開催しました！
当日は、研修にご協力いただいたタイ国政府観光庁大阪事務所の皆さまにもご参加いただきました。
報告会では、研修を通して感じたこと、タイに対するイメージの変化、そしてサステナブルな取り組みについて、それぞれが学んだことを発表しました。
研修から約2ヶ月が経ちましたが、この報告会を通して改めて「タイの観光」や「サステナブル」について深く考えるきっかけとなりました🌿✨

On November 10, 2025, we held the Thailand Sustainable Tourism Training Report Session 🇹🇭!
We were honored to have three representatives from the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Osaka Office, who supported our training program, join us for the event.
During the session, each participant shared their reflections — what caught their attention during the training, how their image of Thailand had changed, and what they learned about sustainable practices.
Although about two months have passed since the training, this report session gave us another great opportunity to think deeply about tourism in Thailand and sustainability. 🌿✨

PATA和歌山大学学生支部、タイでサステナブル・ツーリズム研修を実施しました！
9月にタイを訪れ、持続可能な観光の在り方を現地で学びました。本研修は、タイ国政府観光庁大阪事務所のご支援・ご協力により実現したものです。
報告会では、参加学生たちが現地での体験をもとに、サステナブル・ツーリズムへの考察やタイ文化に触れて得た気づきを発表します。
予約等不要です。
タイに行ってみたい、サステナブルツーリズムに興味がある観光学部生・院生はぜひお越しください！

PATA Wakayama University Student Chapter "Thailand Training Report Session" Announcement🇹🇭
PATA Wakayama University Student Chapter conducted sustainable tourism training in Thailand!
In September, we visited Thailand to learn about sustainable tourism practices firsthand. This program was made possible with the support and cooperation of the Tourism Authority of Thailand Osaka Office.
At the report session, participating students will present their insights on sustainable tourism and discoveries gained through experiencing Thai culture, based on their on-site experiences.
No reservation required.
Tourism students and graduate students interested in visiting Thailand or sustainable tourism are encouraged to attend!

こんばんは！PATA和歌山大学学生支部です☔️
久しぶりの投稿となってしまいましたが、夏休み企画「旅が私に教えてくれたこと」の投稿は本日で最後です！応募してくださった皆さんありがとうございました！
今回初めて実施した企画ですが、いかがだったでしょうか？メンバーからは「問いを探すのが意外と難しかった」という声も聞かれました🧐旅から帰って来た時に印象に残るのは楽しい思い出で、みんなに話したくなるのも美しい景色や美味しいご飯の話です。
ですが、その楽しさの中や目につかない片隅に私たちの世界を広げる「学びの種」が眠っているかもしれません。この企画が観光学部の皆さんの「種集め」の役に立てたのなら嬉しいです！

It's been a while since our last post, but today marks the final installment of our summer break project, "What the trip taught me."! Thank you to everyone who submitted!
This was our first time running this project—what did you think? Some members mentioned, "Finding the right question was surprisingly difficult." 🧐 When we return from a trip, what sticks with us are the fun memories—the beautiful scenery and delicious food we can't wait to share.
But hidden within that joy, or tucked away in unnoticed corners, might lie "seeds of learning" that expand our world. We'd be thrilled if this project helped Tourism Studies students gather those seeds!

今日はオーストラリアを訪れた学生からのコメントです。
エアーズロック(ウルル)は2019年から、登山が禁止されました。理由は安全上の理由や環境保護の側面だけでなく、先住民族アボリジニにとって聖地であることが挙げられます。
今回の旅で、彼はただその場所が聖地なだけでなく、生活の拠点であったことにも気がついたそうです。実際にその場所に行ったからこその気づきは旅の醍醐味ですね！

Today we have comments from a student who visited Australia.
Climbing Uluru (Ayers Rock) has been prohibited since 2019. The reasons include safety concerns and environmental protection, but also because it is sacred ground for the Aboriginal people.
During this trip, he realized it wasn't just sacred ground, but also a place where people lived. Discovering things like this only by actually going there is the real thrill of travel!
