卒業生の新出くん、補助員で手伝ってくれた浅里さん、河端くんのお陰で、論文にまとめることが出来ました！

（論文執筆まで遅くなってごめんちゃい）論文が公開されました！
有核の赤血球の核サイズ制御を解析した論文です。
論文の概要は、有核赤血球の核のサイズに存在する法則性が、他の一般的な細胞のものとは異なることを見つけました。モデル生物以外のカエルも使用し、測定した核のサイズを比較しましたが、私の息子氏（当時３ちゃい）が中央公園でニホンアマガエルを捕まえたのが解析を行う切っ掛けでした🐸

研究室で研究のお手伝いしませんか？
勤務期間は2022年度前期・後期です（延長あり）。
勤務時間：１回１時間弱分くらいで週に2–3回です。勤務日・勤務時間は調整可能。講義や他のバイトの間の時間を有効活用できます。
内容：実験用カエルのお世話や研究室内の諸仕事（興味があれば他の仕事も可）
条件：生き物が嫌いじゃない人（生き物に愛情がある人は大歓迎）
バイト代：大学内の規定に準じます
対象：できれば1年生か2年生（研究室配属前の学生が望ましい）

研究室スペースを学内で引っ越しました。
これまで使っていた理学部3号館の掃除タイムラプスです。
掃除と移設に約1か月かかりました。ふぅーーー。

In this paper, we found the new role of the yolk platelets of Xenopus embryo in controlling the nucleus size. Our previous graduate student, Sora, has started the observation of the nucleus in a lot of blastomeres in Xenopus embryos and found a new direction of yolk platelets.

大学院生（2年前の卒業生）の下釜さんの仕事をパブリッシュすることが出来ました！
カエル胚の植物極に多数含まれる卵黄顆粒が、栄養供給の面以外でも、核サイズ制御に関与するという、新しい細胞レベルの観点からの卵黄顆粒の存在意義を示すことが出来ました🐸

プロジェクトを始めたばかりの頃は、研究の軸もフォーカスもブレまくりで、（主に学生が）苦しみましたが、その試行錯誤がなければ、この論文が生まれなかったと思っています。良く頑張りました。
下釜さん、おめでとう！ありがとう！

原が学生のころから馴染みのある、そして歴史のある雑誌に投稿できたのは、感慨深いです😆

小春日和の中、11月7日（日）に理学部「サイエンスワールド2021 ～山大キッズ探検隊～」を開催しました。昨年度は新型コロナウイルス感染症拡大の影響により開催できませんでしたが、本年度は感染の影響が少なくなってきた時期での開催となりました。完全予約制として来場人数の制限を行い、約220名の方にご来場いただきました。
