We are pleased to announce this year's student recruitment with a new flyer for the Infrastructure Management Program (IMP).
We would like to introduce the application guidelines for those interested in participating in this program by receiving a scholarship from the World Bank.
Application for October 2026 admission should be submitted online by 19 February 2026.

One of the IMP scholars participated in the ”National Civil Engineering Speech Contest" hosted by JSCE and presented his speech in Japanese. As a finalist, he received the Encouragement Award! ✨✨

✨Special Lecture by Ms. Mercy Tembon✨

On June 18, a special lecture by Ms. Mercy Tembon, the Vice President and Corporate Secretary of the World Bank Group, was held at the Media Hall of Yokohama National University.

Mr. Tembon delivered a lecture titled “Working together for creating a world free of poverty on a livable planet”. Approximately 60 participants, including faculty members, attended the lecture. During the Q&A session that followed the lecture, international students posed numerous questions.

We sincerely appreciate this valuable opportunity!! 💐

🌸Chairperson of the IMP Steering Committee🌸

Continuing from last year, Prof. Shiga of the Graduate School of International Social Sciences has been appointed Chairperson of the IMP Steering Committee.

The faculty and staff will commit to the further enhancement and development of IMP 🙂

IMP students were invited to the Public Knowledge Seminar and a Lunch Meeting with Mr. Indermit S. Gill, the World Bank's Chief Economist. We hope to continue expanding the JJ/WBGSP network in the future!! 🌸
