RVTTI Joins VET4HYDROGEN Initiative

RVTTI today participated in the launch of the Training of Trainers (ToT) programme and signing of an MoU between SDTVET and ICU under the VET4HYDROGEN Project at KSTVET.

The project aims to strengthen Green Hydrogen skills and employment opportunities in Kenya by equipping trainers and learners with relevant technical skills and promoting collaboration across the sector.

RVTTI was represented by the Registrar, Head of Agriculture, Madam Sharon and Mr. Maraga.

RVTTI is exploring a potential partnership with Longvolt Energy Co., Ltd., a China-based renewable energy company specializing in photovoltaic systems and lithium-battery energy storage.

The Chinese delegation gave positive feedback on the proposed areas of collaboration, with discussions towards signing Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) currently underway.

The partnership is expected to support skills development, technology transfer, renewable energy training, innovation, learner safety, and job creation, while strengthening China–Kenya collaboration.

The Chief Executive Officer and Council Secretary of TVET CDACC, Prof. Kisilu M. Kitainge, today visited RVTTI to officially open the CDACC July Series marking exercise.

Prof. Kitainge commended the RVTTI Management and staff for the excellent preparations that have ensured the exercise proceeds smoothly. He called on all involved to uphold equity, professionalism, and integrity throughout the marking process.
