Kosele Needs a Market Land
Kosele has traders, customers and a growing business community, but one major challenge remains: there is no dedicated land for a proper modern market.
The lack of market land limits the town’s ability to organise traders, improve sanitation, create proper trading spaces and attract more businesses.
Interestingly, the acquisition of land for Kosele Market has already been identified as a high-priority need in Homa Bay County’s public participation plans.
The question is: When will the people of Kosele get a permanent solution?
Kosele needs more than promises. It needs land, a planned market and investment that can revive its economy and give local traders a better place to do business

Residents deserve clear information on the county government's achievements, how public funds have been used, and the impact of county-funded projects. Transparency and accountability strengthen public trust

A Youth Manifesto should not end as a launch document it should become a roadmap for action. County governments, elected leaders, policymakers, civil society organizations, development partners, and young people themselves all have a role in following up on its commitments.
Regular monitoring, dialogue, and accountability are essential to ensure the priorities raised by young people are reflected in plans, budgets, and policies. A manifesto only creates impact when everyone responsible works together to turn its promises into reality.

Why are persons with disabilities still being left behind when bursaries are being allocated?
Education is a right, not a privilege. Bursary programs should prioritize inclusion and ensure that persons with disabilities have equal access to financial support. Leaving them out only widens inequality and denies many deserving students the opportunity to learn and succeed.
Inclusive bursary allocation is not charity it's justice.
