And just like that… our admission, registration and orientation season has come to an end!
As we get ready to settle back into our regular MNUC routine, we couldn’t let the week go by without appreciating the amazing MNUC staff who made it all happen.
We’ve received lots of positive feedback on the admission and registration process, and that’s a win we’re very proud to share.
So, meet some of the faces who helped make our newest cohort feel right at home and help us thank them in the comments.

Happy Monday from a much larger MNUC!
After a busy past week of registration, admission and orientation, the induction of our new first-year cohort culminated in a Matriculation Ceremony earlier today, led by our Principal, Prof. Zipporah Ng’ang’a.
With over 1,200 students, the largest cohort yet, the newest members of the MNUC family were warmly welcomed by the wider University College community, comprising members of Management, faculty, staff and continuing students.
We’re excited to welcome our newest cohort and look forward to witnessing their growth, development and achievements throughout their journey at MNUC.

Day Two of registration and admission is coming to a close, and it’s safe to say that the vast majority of our first-year students have now reported.
If you haven’t reported yet, don’t worry! Registration and admission will continue even as orientation begins tomorrow.
Orientation will provide an important opportunity for our first-years to familiarise themselves with the University College, learn about our programmes, services, policies and expectations, and get settled into campus life before classes commence next week.

As we embark on our journey towards continuous improvement, MNUC remains committed to enhancing service delivery and ensuring that our stakeholders receive quality, efficient and responsive services.

With this in mind, we are pleased to share our new and improved Service Delivery Charter, available in both English and Kiswahili.

The Charter outlines our core services, the standards we are committed to upholding, and what you can expect when accessing our services. It is a reflection of our commitment to transparency, accountability, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

We invite you to take a moment to familiarise yourself with the Charter and use it as a guide whenever you engage with MNUC.
Here's a link to the same on our website: https://mnu.ac.ke/service-charter/

Our University College recently took yet another massive step forward in ensuring safety by successfully completing a rigorous, comprehensive three-day First Aid certification program. Conducted by experts from the Directorate of Occupational Safety and Health Services (DOSHS), the hands-on training brought together members of the Safety and Health committee, the Fire safety team and First Aiders to transform them into highly capable emergency first responders.
The intensive curriculum strictly aligned with the statutory requirements of the First Aid Rules, Legal Notice No. 79 of 15th May, 2024, ensuring our University College remains fully compliant with the latest national safety guidelines and legal frameworks.

This past weekend, MNUC got an opportunity to participate in the Kiganjo Vocational Training Centre Annual Cultural Day and Talent Show held at the KVTC grounds.

Represented by Ms. Josephine Nkangi, Head of Student Affairs and Outreach, MNUC had the opportunity to showcase its academic programmes and encourage students and parents to choose the University as their preferred institution for quality higher education.

The event, attended by several Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) from Kiambu County, provided a valuable platform for community outreach, stakeholder engagement, and partnership building. It strengthened collaboration between MNUC, community leaders, vocational institutions, and the local community while celebrating Kenya's rich cultural heritage, showcasing local talent, inspiring young people, and providing a platform for creative expression.

We sincerely appreciate Kiganjo Vocational Training Centre for the generous invitation and congratulate the organisers on hosting a successful event that celebrated culture, talent, unity, and education.
