It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of Professor Muhammad Suleiman Mukras, a towering figure in the world of economics.
Professor Mohamed Mukras was a Kenyan Don, a top scholar, a reputed academician and one of the leading authorities on economics.
His esteemed work in his influential books such as,
-Mathematical Methods for
Economics.
-Elementary Econometrics: Theory, Application and Policy
-Elementary Econometrics: Theory, Application and Policy (A solutions Manual)
Essential resource that every Economist interacted with, is just but a few of his scholarly contributions.
Prof. Mukras's loss is a blow to the Economist Society and to all who valued his insight and guidance.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, colleagues, and all those who were touched by his work.
His legacy will continue to inspire and guide future generations.
Rest in peace, Professor Mukras S Muhammad.
