In the Business Daily of Friday, September 25, 2026, Mount Kenya University comes in as a thought leader on the national health crisis through its Human Resource Director, Kevin Kinyoro, who authors the opinion piece _"Fix Kenya's broken health workforce structure."_ While analyzing the return-to-work agreement of nurses and the recurring strikes of doctors, pharmacists and clinicians, he argues that Kenya's devolved system created 47 different employers without a credible mechanism to translate national CBA agreements into funded and implementable workforce plans.
What I think is that MKU is an institution that not only trains health professionals but also provides expert policy solutions, calling for a credible national bargaining, financing and governance framework to fix the systemic breakdown.

Meet Staff Kiarie Francis from MKU Meru Campus at the Ura Gate Cultural Affair! 🎓

He is explaining to parents and students why MKU's Monthly Fee Payment Policy is the BEST and most parent-friendly in Kenya.

At MKU, we understand the hustle:

✅ No need to pay all fees at once
✅ Lipa Pole Monthly - as low as per month
✅ Study without stress, no one is sent home for fees
✅ Parent can plan, student can learn in peace

Education should not be stopped by fees. At MKU Meru, we have made it flexible for every family - from Tharaka, Meru, Maralal and all over Kenya.
