Theme: Jesus Restores Hope

Bible Reading: Luke 7:11–17
Introduction
Life can bring moments when our hope seems to die. The widow of Nain had lost her only son, meaning she had lost her joy, security, and future. But when Jesus came into her situation, He brought restoration. Jesus is the One who can bring hope where people see only loss.
1. Jesus sees our pain (Luke 7:13)
"When the Lord saw her, His heart went out to her and He said, ‘Don’t cry.’"
The widow was surrounded by people, but Jesus noticed her personal pain. Jesus is not blind to our struggles. He sees our tears, disappointments, and silent battles.

Insight: Our situations may be hidden from people, but they are never hidden from Jesus.

2. Jesus brings hope in hopeless situations
The son was already dead, and human efforts could not change anything. But Jesus stepped in and spoke life.
"Young man, I say to you, get up!" (Luke 7:14)
Where people see an ending, Jesus can create a new beginning.

Insight: No situation is too far gone/ hard for Jesus to restore.

3. Jesus restores more than what was lost
Jesus did not only raise the young man; He restored the widow’s hope, joy, and future.
When Jesus restores, He brings back purpose and gives strength to continue.

Conclusion
The miracle at Nain reminds us that Jesus is still the Restorer of hope. When life brings sorrow, disappointment, or loss, we can trust Him because He has power over every situation.

"The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy." — Psalm 126:3

Prayer
Lord, as we reflect on how Jesus restored hope to the widow of Nain, remind us that You are still the same today. You see our pain, our tears, and the burdens we carry. We surrender every hopeless situation into Your hands.
We pray that You will restore hope where there is despair, peace where there is fear, healing where there is sickness, and joy where there is sorrow. Strengthen those who are discouraged, comfort those who are grieving, and renew the faith of those who feel weak.
Open our hearts to receive Your Word. May the Holy Spirit teach us, transform us, and help us trust You in every season of life. Let this message draw us closer to You and inspire us to share Your hope with others.
We thank You because nothing is impossible for You. We believe that You are able to restore what has been lost and to give us a future filled with hope.
We pray all these in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.🙏🏻

God Is able

Psalm 40:2 (NIV)
"He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand."

This verse is a powerful picture of God's saving grace. David describes a "slimy pit" and "mud and mire"—places where a person is trapped, sinking, and unable to rescue themselves.

Many of us have experienced such pits in different forms: discouragement, sin, fear, failure, grief, or uncertainty. The deeper we struggle, the more helpless we can feel.
But the focus of the verse is not the pit; it is God's intervention. David says, "He lifted me out." God is the One who reaches down when we cannot pull ourselves up. His power is greater than our weakness, and His mercy is deeper than our failures.

The verse continues, "He set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand." God does not merely remove us from danger; He establishes us in stability. The rock symbolizes security, strength, and faithfulness. Where there was uncertainty, God provides confidence. Where there was sinking, He provides standing. Where there was chaos, He provides peace.

Today ,we are encouraged that ,no pit is too deep for God's hand. When we trust Him, He not only delivers us from what threatens to overwhelm us, but He also gives us a new foundation on which to build our lives.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for lifting us out of the pits that trap and discourage us. Set our feet firmly on the rock of Your truth and faithfulness. Help us trust You in every season and stand confidently in Your grace. Put a new song in our mouth that we may have a testimony ,heal and restore us in Jesus' Mighy Name, 🙏🏻

Jesus is the answer 🙏🏻
