Turning online names into familiar faces!

Postgraduate students of the PhD in Business Management (Leadership and Accountability specialisation) recently met physically for the very first time at the beautiful Parklands Sports Club.

With colleagues traveling from across the country, it was a wonderful opportunity to connect in person over great conversations and a shared meal. Drawing from diverse sectors and professional backgrounds, the cohort engaged in rich discussions on leadership, accountability and governance while building the deep relationships that will sustain them throughout this academic milestone.

At the Open University of Kenya, we are incredibly proud to see our flexible, online spaces translate into strong, supportive, real-world networks. Doctoral journeys are demanding, but with a community like this, no scholar is left behind!
