HOW TO GET TO KCNP KWALE CAMPUS 📍

Our campus is located in Waa, Maganyakulo, Kwale County.

FROM MOMBASA

1. Mwembe Tayari → Ferry
Take a matatu from Mwembe Tayari to the Ferry.
💰 Fare: KSh 30

2. Likoni Ferry
Cross the ferry to Likoni.
⛴️ Ferry crossing is FREE.

3. Ferry → Waa, Maganyakulo
From Likoni, you can take:

🚐 Matatu to Waa, Maganyakulo
💰 Fare: KSh 100

🛺 Tuk Tuk to Waa, Maganyakulo
💰 Fare: KSh 70

4. Waa, Maganyakulo → KCNP Kwale Campus
Once you alight at Waa, Maganyakulo, you can either:

🚶🏾 Walk to the campus
OR
🏍️ Take a boda boda to the campus.
💰 Fare: approximately KSh 50

1. We do not accept cash payments, therefore do not give your money to ANYONE. All payments should be made via a KCB agent or bank.

2. Usikubali kubebewa mizigo na mtu usiyemfahamu. Kubebewa itakua bure kupata ndio pesa. Stay sharp 👉😉.

3. Do not follow anyone you don't know ety anaenda kukuonyesha nyumba, be accompanied by someone you know or go as a group . 🤙😀

4. Local transport by Tuktuks is 100 bob within town to school. Sema unaenda KCNP or MTTI. Usipande tuktuk ikona watu wengine ndani. Na ukiambiwa ufunge mlango, shuka. Don't be conned.

Hapa Mighty KCNP, we allow change of course at no extra cost! If you were placed in a course that was not your preferred choice, during data entry (where you hand over your academic transcripts during admission), kindly inform the officer serving you that you would like to change your course.

The Kenya Coast National Polytechnic Industry Advisory Board (IAB), comprising professionals from the hospitality and maritime industries, visited the new KCNP Kwale Campus ahead of its meeting.

The delegation was led by IAB Chairperson, Mr Silvester Kututa, Group Executive Chairman and Founder of Express Shipping & Logistics (EA) Ltd, and toured the campus facilities as the institution prepares to welcome trainees from 25th August 2026 and strengthen industry focused training.

The visit provided an opportunity to engage on the role of industry in shaping relevant, practical and future ready training. We sincerely appreciate the Industry Advisory Board for its continued support and valuable contribution towards strengthening the link between KCNP and industry.
The KCNP team present included Deputy Principal Administration, Mr Martin Njuguna, Deputy Principal Academics, Ms Gertrude Mutie, Project Lead, Mr Kelvin Ochieng, and HOD Maritime Studies, Mr Martin Mulwa.
