Meet this year’s top graduating medical student, Dr. Hony Godana! With an impressive GPA of 3.92, she plans to specialize in Pediatric Surgery. We are incredibly proud of you, Hony! She has earned a remarkable distinction and is ranked 1st in her class. We couldn’t be more thrilled about her achievements!
Recently, her accomplishments were recognized by the Ethiopian Medical Association (EMA).
On April 6th, 2025, we will celebrate her and our other graduates at a ceremony at the Sheraton Addis.

Reports say Kenyan teachers are heading to the United States as part of a new agreement to export more educators abroad. The government says there is a rising demand for Kenyan teachers in Africa and globally. President William Ruto has previously stated that Kenya aims to export nearly 5,000 skilled and semi-skilled workers every week. What do you think of this policy?

South Sudan’s government has ordered an indefinite closure of all schools because of a heatwave that could see temperatures rise to as high as 45C (113F).

Any school found open from Monday will have its registration withdrawn, authorities warned.
