Our institution stands as a beacon of excellence, where the edifice of legal education is constructed upon the pillars of integrity, diligence, and intellectual rigour.

"Law school is a marathon, not a sprint," as the venerable Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg once proclaimed, and here at Africa Nazarene, we are committed to guiding you with unwavering support through every stride of this formidable yet rewarding odyssey.

Esteemed first years, we extend to you an illustrious welcome to the hallowed halls of Africa Nazarene Law School, where the pursuit of justice and the quest for truth converge in unparalleled synergy.

As you embark upon this august journey, know that you are not merely students, but the vanguards of jurisprudence, entrusted with the noble responsibility of upholding the law in its most sacrosanct form.

At ANU, we hold you in the highest regard, recognizing the immense potential that resides within each of you.

Mark your calendars, for on Friday, the 30th of August, from 9am to 12pm, we shall convene for the ANU Law School orientation—a seminal gathering where your legal acumen shall begin to take root.

This is but the first chapter in a saga of legal mastery, and we are honoured to walk this path alongside you.

Welcome to the finest bastion of legal scholarship; together, we shall craft the future of justice.

In the grand arena of discourse, where intellects clash and ideas ignite, Africa Nazarene University proudly participated in the esteemed Athena Debate Festival, convened by Daystar University, and The from the 26th to the 28th of July. Here, the theme was "THE SHE SPECTRUM; securing safety, nurturing wellness, shaping policy, and promoting sexual health" – a noble cause, championing the virtues of society.

With regulations clear and participation esteemed, a man to compete must be paired with a formidable female counterpart. Representing ANU with brilliance were Mercy Ogol, Kisegei Chebet, Ryian Kipngetich, and James Kenyakisa, who stepped into the fray with courage and eloquence.

While our debate teams, valiant in spirit and relentless in argument, met their match at Round 5, their effort remains commendable. Yet, it was in the public speaking category where our stars truly shone. We are elated to congratulate Ryian and Kenyakisa, who emerged among the best – securing the titles of Second and First Runners-Up, respectively.

This triumph reaffirms the excellence of the Africa Nazarene University Law School, an institution unmatched in its pursuit of legal and rhetorical mastery.

Kudos to our champions, and may their voices continue to inspire and lead.

Africa Nazarene University Law School – Simply the best. 👌

Amidst the hills of Rwanda, at the prestigious University of Rwanda in Kigali, the ANU Law School joined a chorus of voices in the 33rd Christof Heyns African Human Rights Moot Court Competition. This grand assembly, the largest of its kind, gathered students, academics, and judges, all united under the banner of human rights in Africa. Each year, this event weaves together the finest minds from law faculties across the continent, challenging top students to argue a hypothetical human rights case before the esteemed African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights.

In this 33rd edition, the hypothetical case unfurled themes of business and human rights, the sanctity of privacy and personal data, and the tumult of unconstitutional changes in government. Our brilliant students, Felicity and Naomi, stood tall among the brightest, their eloquence and fervor shining through fierce rounds of competition. They reached the Round of 16, where they bowed with grace and dignity.

Congratulations to our remarkable team. With heads held high, we look forward to the 34th edition, where we shall return stronger, with unwavering resolve to claim victory.
