learning for the benefit of both face-to-face and distance students.
- Provide greater access to quality education by taking education to where the student is.
- Ensure efficiency in the administration and management of ODeL.
- Provide guidance on capacity building on a continuous basis.

During this event, judges will select the most innovative ideas presented by 20 Daystar students & other organizations to receive seed capital by JICA. 6 faculty ( from the Department of : Developmental Studies, Commerce & Education ) are part of the judges & moderators of the event. Daystar through ODeL, DRGS, SBE together with JICA, NGEC, Nairobi County & Axcel Africa will be holding a Business Marathon Idea to adress GBV in Kenya 7th 8th March 2024. 20 DU postgraduate students & 50 other key stakeholders have been funded to attend. Ideas generated will be funded by JICA. We held a planning meeting on 27th of February 2024.
