It's now official that the KUCCPS portal is now open for 2022/2023 University, College and TVET applications. Students who completed their secondary school studies and are yet to apply can now log into https://students.kuccps.net/login/ for application.


Input your KCSE index number, KCSE year and use your birth certificate number as your password.

Students who scored a minimum of a C+ can apply for degree courses in both the public and private universities country wide. Students with a mean grade of C- and above qualify for diploma courses, D+ qualify for certificate course while the rest can apply for artisan courses.

Applicants are required to pay an application fee of 1500 Kenyan shillings and note down the MPESA transaction code for confirmation. After entering the valid code you can proceed with the application.


Take note of the cluster points making reference with the previous years before submitting an application. Another factor to be considered if the minimum entry requirements. On insertion of the course code, the system will automatically notify you if you qualify for the selected course.

Pay application fee of Ksh 1,000 to the Kimc account stated in the form and place the original banking slip along with copies of your results slip, school leaving certificate and ID. Attach recent photo in space provided

Kenya Universities and Colleges central placement Services ( KUCCPS ) has opened up and The Kenya Institute of Mass Communication has placed her courses on the portal .

Feel free to make application for various courses .

Most courses have multiple entry requirements and to be sure make applications for all 4 options at The Kenya Institute Mass Communication to be assured of the opportunity.

In most cases the placement services provide you with your alterative Institution if your most preferred course is filled up . We have limited chances hence you may be re directed . All four should be at the Institution.

We have sufficient full board accomodation for successful candidates

This is to wish all 2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education candidates success in just concluded examination awaiting official results from CS MoE .

KUCCPS platform is opening as soon as results are out .

Kindly purpose to place your applications for courses ranging from , Film Production and Directing option, Film camera , Film Editing , Film Sound , Film Animation , Broadcast journalism , Journalism , Radio Broadcast Production , Television Broadcast Production , Television and Radio presentation techniques , Public Relations and Advertising, Media Technology , Telecommunications, Electronics .

Diploma at main campus is minimum C plain with C plain in English and Kiswahili
Intake processing is from May to June and successful applicants will receive admission letters by end of July

However , Eldoret campus intake in modules ( certificate with opportunity to join Main campus for diploma after one year ) is open for intake now - ongoing
