Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology(JKUAT) The Official page for Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. Plans for the establishment of JKCAT started in 1977.

JKUAT was started in 1981 as a Middle Level College (Jomo Kenyatta College of Agriculture and Technology (JKCAT)) by the Government of Kenya with the generous assistance from the Japanese Government. In early 1978, the founding father of the nation, Mzee Jomo Kenyatta donated two hundred hectares of farmland for the establishment of the college.

I just ain't sure whether this culture is just in JKUAT or what, but it is quite interesting that guys have strongly embraced the culture of "LAST-MINUTE-RUSH". I mean nobody ever reads until exams begin. And then yesterday the library was packed to the brim, yet not even a whisper could be heard. The capacity was alarming in fact I had to rush out of the library periodically to catch up with a gasp of fresh air before I could suffocate! Really, someone ought to change...
