About the EAIHM College
The EAIHM opened its doors for learning in April 2011. The institute is located in Githurai 45 immediately after crossing the Railway line on your way to Progressive. It is spacious and has conducive learning environment and facilities for expansion.We have qualified, professional and experienced team of lecturers and support staff who are always on hand to give guidance on their area of expertise. Hostel facilities are offered at a reasonable rate and include well balanced meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Among the curriculums being offered is a unique one developed by KIE (KICD) which is aimed at creating professionals in Homecare Management and the wider Hospitality industry for the East African community and beyond. Today marked an exciting milestone in strengthening Kenya–Germany labour mobility cooperation as the **German-Kenyan Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Kenya)** and the **State Department for Diaspora Affairs (SDDA)** signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance collaboration on ethical labour migration, skills development, and international workforce placement.

East African Institute of Homecare Management (EAIHM) was well represented during this engagement, where we continue to champion pathways that connect Germany's growing demand for skilled professionals with Kenya's talented workforce.

While care work remains a key focus, the opportunities emerging in **healthcare, construction, and domestic work** highlight the transformative role that labour mobility can play in reducing unemployment and creating dignified livelihoods. Through quality training, ethical recruitment, and internationally recognized skills, we can prepare Kenyan professionals to thrive in global labour markets.
