Chinmaya Mission Kenya's Shishuvihar, Balvihar and Junior CHYKS wings celebrated their spiritual master's birthday marked as Seva Day by giving back to the environment through a fruit tree planting initiative at Highridge Primary School.

The team also shared joy and happiness with the young children of the Pre-Primary School by distributing cake, biscuits, wafers, juice, toys, clothes, shoes, and many other gifts.

A meaningful day of caring for the environment while spreading smiles and kindness to the next generation.

For many children in Nairobi’s informal settlements, a school meal is not just food—it’s the reason they show up, the energy they need to learn, and sometimes the only meal they’ll have that day.

As schools reopen, the Lions Club of Nairobi Huru continues its mission to serve 15,000 meals every week. But we cannot do it alone.

Your support can put a meal in a child’s hands—and hope in their heart.

Join us in making a difference:

*M-Pesa Pay Bill: 982800*
*Account: 3000096664*

Together, we can keep them fed, focused, and hopeful.

On 27th April 2026, the Lions Club of Nairobi Huru will resume its School Feeding Program as schools reopen.

Even during the holidays, we never stopped showing up—reaching children in informal settlements three days a week across five areas in Nairobi.

Every week, we strive to serve 15,000 meals—each one delivering hope, dignity, and a smile to a child who needs it most.

To our donors, volunteers, and well-wishers: thank you for standing with us. Because of you, thousands of children are not just fed—they are cared for, uplifted, and given a reason to believe.

Let’s keep going.
