LEARNING BEYOND THE CLASSROOM.

Our engineering students recently visited the Kenya Railways Central Workshop in Nairobi, gaining hands-on exposure to machining, CNC technology, locomotive electrical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and workshop operations.

The visit also opened conversations between our trainers and Kenya Railways engineers on dual-based training and stronger industry partnerships.

On 11 September 2026, we hosted Great Lakes TVET Institute for a benchmarking visit focused on sharing best practices in Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET), quality assurance, assessment and continuous improvement.

We were pleased to welcome Principal Rosemary Osewe and Assessment Coordinator Joan Kanini Etenyi as we exchanged ideas and experiences on strengthening practical, industry-relevant training.
