Yesterday's Thursday devotion was full of life and joy as we celebrated all our Mr&Miss KeMU Nakuru Campus 2016/2017 beauty contestants and overall winners.Our Director Dr.Susan C.Nzioki graced the occasion in a very unique and lively way.God bless Nakuru Campus ...The future is here!!!!

A beauty pageant is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants, although some contests have evolved to also incorporate personality traits, intelligence, talent, and answers to judges' questions as a judged criterion. Well last Saturday was a great day for us; we had 12 contestants who competed stiffly for the coveted Mr. & Miss KeMU Nakuru Crown. The categories in the competition were:
• Introduction wear
• Casual Wear
• Professional wear
• Talent display
• Creative wear
• Dinner wear
• Question and answer session
The event was held at our Nakuru Campus, Common hall and attracted the biggest crowd ever in the recent past. The hall was filled with excitement from our students and visiting students from other institutions. The contestants showed exemplary performance in talent, creativity and intelligence in all the categories.
As the famous quote says ‘Sometimes we win sometimes we learn’, we had contestants who participated last year and did not perform ‘well’ but sure they learnt and emerged among the best in this year’s men’s category. We finally had an amazing moment of celebration when we crowned Mercy Mueni a student in the School of Business as our Miss KeMU Nakuru Campus and Cornelius Kihungu a student in the Faculty of Computing and Informatics.
