Kenya Private Schools Association KPSA is an association established in 1994 for private school proprietors who own Pre-primary, Primary, Secondary & Private Teacher Training Institutions.

Kenya Private Schools Association covers private institutions whether low-cost, medium or high-cost provided that they are duly registered and pursuing a curriculum that has been approved by the Ministry of Education.

🤝 STRENGTHENING PARTNERSHIPS FOR QUALITY EDUCATION

The KPSA National Chairperson, Madam Rosebella Ojiambo, had a brief, impromptu yet significant engagement with the Cabinet Secretary for Education, Hon. Julius Migos Ogamba, EGH, and was joined by the Principal Secretary, State Department for Basic Education, John Lekakeny Ololtuaa, CBS.

The cordial engagement underscored the importance of continued collaboration between the Kenya Private Schools Association (KPSA) and the Ministry of Education in strengthening Kenya’s education sector.

Such engagements are instrumental in fostering stronger partnerships, enhancing dialogue, and ensuring that the private education sector continues to play its vital role in complementing Government efforts towards the provision of quality and inclusive education for all learners.

KPSA remains committed to constructive engagement with the Ministry of Education and other key stakeholders as it continues to champion the interests of private schools, educators, and learners across the country.

Building Stronger Association , Shaping a Stronger Future.

Following the successful KPSA Coastal Region Ball Games, the KPSA National Chairperson, Madam Rosebella Ojiambo, was warmly hosted for a dinner by the Coastal Region leadership.

The evening provided an excellent opportunity for meaningful engagement and strategic discussions on the future of the Association in the Coastal Region. Key areas of discussion included strengthening KPSA structures, enhancing member recruitment and retention, promoting unity among private school owners, increasing advocacy on issues affecting private education, and fostering closer collaboration with education stakeholders.

The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment of both the National and Regional leadership to build a vibrant, responsive, and impactful Association that continues to serve the interests of private schools while championing quality, inclusive, and sustainable education.

KPSA extends its sincere appreciation to the Coastal Region leadership for their warm hospitality, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the growth of the Association. Together, we remain focused on empowering our members, strengthening partnerships, and creating a brighter future for private education in Kenya.

The Kenya Private Schools Association (KPSA) joins the people of Uganda in mourning the heartbreaking loss of pupils, staff, and the school director of King David Junior School following the tragic road accident.

We extend our deepest and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, the King David Junior School community, the National Private Educational Institutions Association in Uganda (NAPEIA-U), and the entire education fraternity in Uganda.

May God grant strength, comfort, and peace to all those affected during this difficult time, and may He grant a swift recovery to those who were injured.

Day Two marked the successful conclusion of the KPSA 29th Annual National Head Teachers and Principals Conference at Kabarak University.

We were greatly honored by the presence of Prof. Henry Kiplagat, PhD, MBS, OGW, Vice Chancellor of Kabarak University, who delivered a thought-provoking keynote address on the future of education and the critical role of visionary leadership in transforming our schools.

His inspiring message challenged education leaders to embrace innovation, uphold excellence, and equip learners with the skills, values, and competencies needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
