Polytechnique Institute of Battambang Province(PIB) Before became from Battambang Provincial Training Center (PTC) was founded in 1993 supported by International Labor Organization (ILO). In 1998 ILO finished the project and transferred the center to Ministry of Education Youth and Sports.In August 2004, the government transferred the center to the newly created Ministry, Ministry of Labor and Voc

ational Training. Under the government policy of developing human resources of higher education In July 2007, the center was upgraded to Polytechnic Institute of Battambang Province (PIB).
