Asean Mini-Marathon

Asean Mini-Marathon ASEAN Mini-Marathon Cambodia – one of the ASEAN countries, we would like to help putting this vision into action.

The ASEAN Vision 2020 calls for “a clean and green ASEAN with fully established mechanisms for sustainable development to ensure the protection of the region’s environment, the sustainability of its natural resources and the high quality of life of its peoples”, (ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Environment). We hope that the event “ASEAN Marathon: We run for a Greener Space” will be an initiation to

raise the public awareness or in launching other programs that will help in developing our society for the better. ASEAN Marathon will be held on the 23th October, 2011 which is the descendant program to our ASEAN slogan competition. Thus, we are aiming at youth, especially universities students to share their ideas within the region. More than that, the registration fees that we collect from the participants of university students and other interested individuals whose age are above 18 years old will be donated to the “Mlob Baitong” organization whose objective is to help in preserving community forest for the balance of ecosystem in Cambodia.
