Hak's Project (Volunteer and Village Help in Cambodia Organisation) is a non-profit organisation set up by local man Hak Hort in the village of Tonal Dak, 45 minutes outside of Siem Reap, Cambodia. His aim is to teach the primary and secondary students in his village English with the help of volunteers from all over the world. He offers a homestay in his family home for volunteers, allowing you to

experience genuine Cambodian way of life. The children are a pleasure to teach and seeing the smiles on their faces at the end of class is so rewarding. The ability to speak English improves their job prospects especially in the tourism industry around Siem Reap.
